I purchased these as I needed more smart outlets to work with HomeKit. They are incredibly easy to set up and add to HomeKit. The Meross apps is needed to update firmware, but past that HomeKit can fully control and automate these as far as you want to go. I have one setup with a pet bed heater. Using HomeKit and Shortcuts I was able to make the plug turn on only when the weather was forecast to be below 40! Im saving power and my cat is loving a nice warm bed! Another I used to turn on holiday lights at sunset and off at sunrise. I could not be happier and will be purchasing more of these as well as looking at other products that Meross offers. Ive been in the Wemo camp since they originally launched, but this product is much better, much easier to use and does not require a bridge like my (admittedly older) Wemo switches/outlets.

I have several of these and found them easy to setup and use. I use them mostly for lamps and my coffee maker. In the last month, only one switch didn’t respond to a group scene command - Siri let me know that and repeating the command did turn the lamp off. I am really pleased with these switches/outlets. Tip: I have dimmers for my lamps plugged into these switches. I had the dimmers and very seldom adjust the dimmer level, so this saved me from needing to purchase the more expensive dimmer outlets.

I own several different smart plug varieties from numerous different vendors. The first thing that I noticed upon taking the Meross Smart Plug Mini out of the box was its weight - it feels more solid and well-made than most of the competitors plugs. However, the size is just right - I have a couple of other smart plugs that block the second outlet when being used, or protrude significantly away from the outlet. The Meross Smart Plug Mini does neither, meaning the other outlet is still usable. Pairing with SmartThings was not quite as straight-forward as with the Z-Wave Plus (or even Zigbee) plugs that I have, but I find this to be the case with most Wifi versions. When I opened up the Meross app to pair and add the plugs on my iPhone, for whatever reason, it defaults to the Apple Home app to continue setting up the plug. I dont use Homekit, personally, because so few devices are Homekit certified - so this was a minor annoyance. I could not find a way to complete the setup in Meross without first doing so in the Home app... However, once the device was configured in the Home app, it did appear in the Meross app. I had previously linked my Meross account with SmartThings, so once I opened SmartThings, each of the three Meross Smart Plug Mini devices showed up in SmartThings, and can now be used in Routines/Automations, added to the proper Room, etc. Because I have SmartThings linked to Alexa, I choose not to link Meross directly to Alexa (otherwise Duplicate devices appear), but I have no doubt that this would work seamlessly as well. I would recommend, and certainly would not hesitate to purchase additional Smart Plug Minis from Meross in the future if I have a need for more.

Wow. I was fairly skeptical of these since the price was so reasonable—but they set up easily on the first try, integrated easily with Apple HomeKit, their app is clean and easy to use...I literally don’t have a single complaint. I’ve used 3 different major brands of wifi switches, and none of them are superior to these in any way. I will happily order this brand of devices again, and would have no problem recommending them 100%!

Id recently purchased another outlet brand and was frustrated for about 6 hours over 2 days attempting to get that product to work. I was absolutely disgusted, and guilty of not having done my homework, since my purchase was a spur of the moment instore buy. I researched the Meross smart plugs and was Beyond happy with what I was reading, and upon arrival and Easy installation and paring, I was not disappointed at all, just the opposite. Im considering buying more now, to make it a total of 10 plugs for me.

Already had the Meross app for the garage door opener, so why not get the smart plug too? Just as easy to set up, no issues with Homekit or wifi. The fit is spot on - you can get two into a standard double outlet and they are no wider than the outlet faceplate - see photo. Great prices on the multi-packs too.

I bought these because my kids broke their tv remote and they left it on for the whole night....well I installed one of them and created an automation with Apple Homekit (very easy to pair) and problem solved. It works marvelous. It is located about 18 feet from the router in a full concrete house. I reponds immediately . To sum up they work well. Looking forwar to use another one on the christmas tree lol....

Items I have connected through a hub dont react as quickly to activation as these do. They are a very welcome addition to my HomeKit.

I’ve only tested this Meross smart plug and Wemo smart plug mini, but Meross by FAR takes the cake! I’ve never once had to reset or unplug and replug in a Meross smart plug. Wemo makes you go to the source when there’s no response and then you have to unplug and replug in the plug to the outlet. Only suggestion for Meross is to try and make the plug smaller like the Wemo minis, but I would rather this larger plug that always works than a small plug that I have issues with. I really love that Meross seems to be keeping their pricing affordable as well! Wemo plugs were much more expensive. It’s an obvious yes to Meross Smart Plugs!

I scanned in the code on the top of the plug, waited for the WiFi connection, named the plug on my HomeKit App, and now I am using Siri to turn on and off my lamp...I love it!
