SO EASY TO SET UP! I have had some issues with other Homekit products (and by issue, I simply have to enter the code instead of scan) but all of the Meross products I got up and running in about 3 minutes! I have them hooked to my Alexa too and they work PERFECT! Great for routines/automatons when coming home. Even use them with IFTTT for some more advanced scripts.

Overall fine, but one of the plugs didnt work at all, no matter what I tried.

I had one go bad from a previous purchase on a Sunday and had a replacement on Friday after a couple of days trying different things. Kudos for great customer service and standing by their product

So easy to connect to Home app and automate using HomePod. We have a floor lamp and our Christmas tree connected currently, and can’t wait to think of what else we can automate! Love that it came in a three pack. Great value for the price.

Meross Smart Plug Mini 16A They have been great so far! I’ve only had them for a few days so I can’t speak to longevity, but they definitely do their job. I bought these to use with an Apple TV, for home automation. The setup could not be simpler: (1) Plug it into an outlet (2) Open the Apple Home app on phone, click ‘add’ from the home screen to add a new accessory (3) Scan the QR Code on the plug. No additional hubs or anything are required, they just work with HomeKit, right out of the box. The size is just right - I can fit 2 of them, or one of these plugs and something else - into a single outlet. They do require 3-prong outlets, so a 2 prong extension cord is not compatible. Though, you probably shouldn’t use these with extension cords anyway.

Already had the Meross app for the garage door opener, so why not get the smart plug too? Just as easy to set up, no issues with Homekit or wifi. The fit is spot on - you can get two into a standard double outlet and they are no wider than the outlet faceplate - see photo. Great prices on the multi-packs too.

I have several of these and found them easy to setup and use. I use them mostly for lamps and my coffee maker. In the last month, only one switch didn’t respond to a group scene command - Siri let me know that and repeating the command did turn the lamp off. I am really pleased with these switches/outlets. Tip: I have dimmers for my lamps plugged into these switches. I had the dimmers and very seldom adjust the dimmer level, so this saved me from needing to purchase the more expensive dimmer outlets.

Disliked having to disable 5ghz and use 2.4ghz for setup.

This is my second set of Meross smart plugs - and Ive yet to be disappointed. The app is required to initially set them up, and I believe you need to enable to Meross skill via the Alexa app, but once youve taken care of downloading the Meross app and enabling the skill, there really is nothing to adding these outlets to your network. Plug them in, open the app, click the + icon, and it will immediately show all of the new outlets that youve plugged in. Simply name them and select the network to which you want them to connect, and the app does the rest. It will connect the switch to your network, and as soon as that happens, Alexa will recognize that youve got a new smart plug to control. Ask Alexa to turn them on or off (if you named them desk light for example, all you need to do is say Alexa, turn on the desk light), and youre good to go. I havent had any issues at all with any of my Meross outlets.
