Ok product nothing special

These are mostly ok, but all of the ones Im using occasionally just click both devices off and then back on again about half a second later, which is annoying, and sometimes they lose their connection to HomeKit and need unplugging and plugging back in again. On the plus side, when you do plug them back in again they reboot quite quickly (if its a feature that theyre quick to fix when they break...)

[Edit] The support team reached out and asked for details of the problem. And then they sent me a replacement which works great. I thought they would ask me to update my review but it has been a month now and they never asked, despite providing a replacement. Which is the reason I am updating this review on my own. It is only fair. [Previously] I bought four of these and one worked ok for a couple of months and then started flashing amber continuously and stopped working. I followed instructions and tried resetting it but that doesnt do anything.

I’m not one who often gives perfect reviews, but I have been very pleased. I have other Meross devices and they weren’t difficult to get going, but this was easy peasy. Almost scary, Alexa added the device without me doing anything. Your app will show three devices, mine does anyway. One for each outlet and one for the actual device. I didn’t remove THE device because it doesn’t bother me and I don’t know if it would mess anything up. I just named it so I would know.

Cada vez que hay interrupciones de electricidad, cuando se vuelve, el enchufe NO se re conecta al wifi. Hay que estar reiniciándolo, eso es muy molesto. Tengo de otra marca que no sucede eso.

The only issue had is we had to go through the set up twice, but we haven’t had any issues since. Couldn’t be happier with them.

I received two plugs. Each plug as two outlets so I can connect two different items that are close together such as lamps, etc. I like it for fish tanks because We have two small fish tanks close to each other. So when I received the plugs, one of them was defective. I was able to reach out directly to Meross and show them a short video with the plug being defective and within a or so I was able to receive a new plug and it works great. I didnt even have to return the defective one. Because of their great customer service. I want to give them 5-stars. I also love that I have Alexa and Apple Homekit so I am able to turn off the plugs with either system. And I like that I can turn on or off both fish tanks or both fish tanks. And with either Alexa or Apple Homekit, you can setup the plugs to automatically turn themselves on and off at a specific time. I love having Smart Plugs! Definitely makes life easier! And thank you Meross for fixing the defective plug so easily!

Please Wi-Fi plugs never worked properly. I have no idea how many emails I have back-and-forth with Merross but after a year and a half of doing what they’ve asked of me, their product doesn’t work any better. I’m in a wheelchair and handicap and this has been a huge frustration since I rely upon these. Obviously I can’t rely upon these, so I’m going to a different product.

I purchased these to add a few outlets that I could control in Homekit. It works well when plugged in and setup. Adding to Homekit was painless. Control is easy... for one of the two outlets. The 2nd outlet in the package just goes into an endless reboot cycle. It is pretty much trash. So, I rated 3 stars since half of 2 pack worked very well. The other half was completely useless and broken out of the box. If you get a good one, you will probably like it. If you get a bad one, you absolutely will not.
