> 3 dayI left my original review below, but I am now returning the smart plug. One of my plugs (I purchased the two pack) keeps clicking off and on. You can hear it from across the room. Ive tried everything to fix it, but it still doesnt work. Sending them both back. Wow! This is the best Homekit smart plug Ive purchased yet. I have a couple of Wemo plugs that have been nothing but trouble. These plugs worked perfectly. Connected to the plugs wifi then connected to the house wifi. Then I simply used the Home app to scan the conveniently placed code and I was in business. Four outlets for the price of one Wemo!

> 3 dayI bought this product containing 2 plugs and it was not easy to set up. The first plug was set up using the Meross app. Then I was able to connect the Smart Things app. This worked for a while. Then both apps were unable to connect to the plug. Interesting, I was able to turn the plug on and off but unable to program it. I contacted support and they said to use Apple Home to install the plugs. I do not recommend buying this plug.

> 3 dayThe overall two outlet design is great! Nice job on that! The setup is easy with Homekit, no issues. The issues I had were that the plugs constantly lost their connection. This is the strange part. I could look on my network and see that they were actively connected to the 2.4 network but they would not respond. A quick unplug and replug, fixes that. The fix would last a few hours to a day or so. Id look in Homekit and they showed offline, even though online in my routers app with activity. I looked in the vendors app and they the same thing, no connection. Firmware was up to date too. Too bad, good concept. Too much hassle for a device like this...will stick with a known company from now on vs. cheap knockoffs from no name brands. Save your money and look elsewhere.

> 3 dayWorked as it should. Easy to setup and configure. Makes it nice to power cycle my outside video cameras without dragging out a ladder.

> 3 dayWas a little nervous that people talked about how hard they were to setup. I setup directly with HomeKit with no problems. Love how I can have them show up together or separately in HomeKit. Ill never buy a single outlet smart plug again. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI have managed to get several other smart devices set up pretty easily but these were ridiculously difficult. I tried several times, even with help from Amazon tech-support, and iwas just about to send them back when I tried one more time and got a wonderful woman in the Echo tech support department. She walked me through steps that had not been even attempted before (nor does it seem likely anyone would have thought to attempt the steps we had to take!) but one of thermse dual outlets works now and I just dread having to set it up in the future if I move! I’m not even going to try to use the second one because I don’t have that kind of time in my life.

Greater than one weekI have switched most of my smart plugs to the dual smart plug. They were working great and now are not updating their firmware. I would consider myself a techie person. Meross has run into issues with an iOS update. I have followed all of their directions and done some of my own troubleshooting to no avail. It’s a shame because I really thought these were a great find. Unfortunately I am stuck with nonfunctioning smart plugs. I have a couple other brand of smart devices, all of which had no issue with the iOS update. Really disappointed that Meross hasn’t fixed this issue.

> 3 dayIts decent value for money and ability to have two separately controlled outlets out of one port is not bad. I was able to integrate it seamlessly w/ Apple Home Kit but could not connect it to Smart Life app in which I have all my other smart things connected. I like that app because its free and allows nice automation and scenes. Also, there are many issues so Ill be returning them. 1) I connected both units to my Apple Home app. They worked together for a while. But three times in a row now, one of them drops out. I reconnect and the same thing. I am not sure if this is a defective unit or if its some problem with their firmware that is messing up more than one unit connected. It may even be a Homekit problem. The fact is, I cant use more than one unit. So, it defeats the purpose 2) Homekit doesnt offer any automation without additional accessories. You can manually control it but again without automation and scenes, its not as useful 3) I was unable to add two of these on a 2-gang outlet. While its true that you get two independent smart outlets from a single home outlet, its only working when you install them at two different locations. They are just a tad too wide to fit two of them at one outlet. So, its not working for my use case, and will return it. Your mileage may vary.
