> 3 dayThis dual outlet switch allows me to easily turn on/off 2 monitors that have switches awkwardly placed on the back. I simply ask Alexa to turn them off, use the Meross app, or swipe my phone over an NFC. Or, I can go old school by reaching across my desk and use the switches on the outlet itself! Wow!

02-04-2025They work with HomeKit, I don’t use Alexa, no such thing as privacy there. I also don’t use the Meross app, no privacy there either, don’t need it anyway. It would be nice if these used Bluetooth instead of taking up bandwidth, since people use so many. Eve is nice using Bluetooth.

> 3 dayThese are my 3rd Meross product, two wall switches. TOTALLY RELIABLE. I see them doing automatic updates, programming is a snap on either their app or on HomeKit. Some have questioned Meross not having 5g, its not necessary and in fact it create more problems. 5g if for high speed data transfer and has a MUCH SHORTER RANGE. Not needed for a switch. Im running a Amplifi mesh and they connect with zero issues. Note, I do have WEMOs also and the amount of frustration with them cant be overstated. My only wish for the Meross wall switches is that they be made SMALLER in depth, in a multi-gang box they are very hard to get in, especially if you had an electrician that was on the ball and used slightly heavier gauge wiring.

> 3 dayI replaced 6 iHome smart plugs with these and theyve been great. The iHome plugs werent reliable with Home Kit, but these maintain the connection, theyre fast to set up and theyre less expensive.

> 3 dayIts decent value for money and ability to have two separately controlled outlets out of one port is not bad. I was able to integrate it seamlessly w/ Apple Home Kit but could not connect it to Smart Life app in which I have all my other smart things connected. I like that app because its free and allows nice automation and scenes. Also, there are many issues so Ill be returning them. 1) I connected both units to my Apple Home app. They worked together for a while. But three times in a row now, one of them drops out. I reconnect and the same thing. I am not sure if this is a defective unit or if its some problem with their firmware that is messing up more than one unit connected. It may even be a Homekit problem. The fact is, I cant use more than one unit. So, it defeats the purpose 2) Homekit doesnt offer any automation without additional accessories. You can manually control it but again without automation and scenes, its not as useful 3) I was unable to add two of these on a 2-gang outlet. While its true that you get two independent smart outlets from a single home outlet, its only working when you install them at two different locations. They are just a tad too wide to fit two of them at one outlet. So, its not working for my use case, and will return it. Your mileage may vary.

> 3 dayPretty easy hook up… for the most part. After that there was nothing but trouble. They continually dropped connection. AND once these were on my system, all of a sudden everything else started dropping connection. Got rid of these plugs and things went back to normal. I’ll never waste my money buying cheap stuff again.

> 3 dayWas a little nervous that people talked about how hard they were to setup. I setup directly with HomeKit with no problems. Love how I can have them show up together or separately in HomeKit. Ill never buy a single outlet smart plug again. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI used several of these to control holiday lights inside the house and got rid of the mechanical timers. Each outlet is independently controlled so it’s ideal to setup themes. Connects easily to Apple HomeKit and setup automations or control remotely
