> 3 dayThe switches work great. Easy to integrate with HomeKit. The one downside is the loud click when you power them off

Greater than one weekI read lots of review and was a mix feeling. However must of them was good reviews so I ordered mainly because Apple Home support. I am not into Alexa or any of this devices so that extra feature is not a plus for me. Anyways the fact that it had an app of its own was the key for me. It is true Apple home on device only works when connected on the same wifi not over celular data but the fact is the Meross app takes over that emissive flawlessly and enough for you to do all you need and more. The schedule time on/off M thrust S is nice. Overall is a great product let’s see how long they last :) Another thing is not so easy to setup but one important key, make sure to delete any VPN app ans turn off Celular signal leaving only the 2.4 mghz wifi connection in your device. I went nuts trying to pair and was my iPhone trying to connect to VPN. Until by exhaustion I figure out. You can imagine :) Once setup is simply great to be able to know if you forgot something on or off. I mainly have lots of servers and often I want to know if power shit down servers or internet so I setup the outlets on second internet to check power on server. Don’t do like me setup the outlier on the same router you will turn off by pressing off in your app, you will never get it back on because it will be offline :) Business environment lots going on but with a bit of figuring and mapping things the outlier did all I wanted. I am happy it worked out well. Hope this helps

06-04-2025Initially, this product was great. It was pretty easy to setup via HomeKit and once it was setup it stayed connected to HomeKit. If you’ve used HomeKit, it was easy to add to some automations and I did just that for a handful of different scenarios. All was good for maybe 2 weeks. Then we started having one incredibly annoying problem. Both outlets (each outlet has a pair of outlets on it, but when I refer to “outlet” I am meaning the 2 outlet assembly) started to turn off and then turn immediately back on. We have lamps connected to these, which seems like the most common use case. Well at night, all the other lights in the kitchen and living room are off except for the lamps connected to the outlet. About every half hour or so, the outlet will turn off, and then turn back on. Sometimes it’s every 15 minutes. There’s really no rhyme or reason as to the time it turns off and back on. I have been able to catch what is happening by looking at the status lights on the outlets and it seems that the outlets are losing WiFi connection, which I guess turns the outlet off but immediately back on. This is interesting because one outlet is less than 10 feet from the router. The other outlet is upstairs at the front of the house and I could see it having connections issues, but they both have the same issue. I downloaded the Meross app to see if there was a firmware update - no update available and currently up to date (4.1.4 / hardware version 4.0.0). When in the Meross app, the outlet nearest the router has 100% WiFi signal while the one upstairs has 75% WiFi signal. I have no idea what the fix is. I’ve done the hard reset as outlined in their user manual, purchased another set of outlets to see if it was just the ones I had (spoiler: it’s not. The new ones have the same issues), and even swapped locations for each outlet. Unfortunately, from what I can find online, none of the other smart outlets that are HomeKit compatible are any better. Such a great idea and just an absolute poor implementation. I will be returning what I have purchased and waiting to see if anything ever comes out with more reliability.

> 3 dayThese are my 3rd Meross product, two wall switches. TOTALLY RELIABLE. I see them doing automatic updates, programming is a snap on either their app or on HomeKit. Some have questioned Meross not having 5g, its not necessary and in fact it create more problems. 5g if for high speed data transfer and has a MUCH SHORTER RANGE. Not needed for a switch. Im running a Amplifi mesh and they connect with zero issues. Note, I do have WEMOs also and the amount of frustration with them cant be overstated. My only wish for the Meross wall switches is that they be made SMALLER in depth, in a multi-gang box they are very hard to get in, especially if you had an electrician that was on the ball and used slightly heavier gauge wiring.

> 3 dayI have pretty much the whole Meross Smart ecosystem in my home - power strips, bulbs, switches, etc. - and this works great with my Nest mini. I have one to control the lighting on my pythons tank (UVB bulb for daylight, IR for night) and its flawless. I made a Scene in the app for toggling the lights at dawn and dusk, and I dont even have to think about them anymore. Very easy to install and set up.
