Meta Portal TV - Big Screen Smart Video Calling for Group Calls on Your TV

My daughter gave us a portal for Christmas and I promptly bought one for her too! It is great being able to see ea h other clearly when we chat using our big screen TVs. The sound is good and it was super easy to set up. Made our first call in about 15 minutes. Now other members of our family have them so we can all get in the conversation so easily.

Pretty cool. Bought as a Father’s Day gift. Set up was very easy and straightforward. My father-in-law had a little hiccup with video which was resolved by changing his FB password. Other than that it’s been great.

FANTASTIC way to visit with family and friends from anywhere in the house while keeping hands free to cook, do laundry/etc, because of freedom of movement since the Portal-go follows your movements! Sound and picture quality is EXCELLENT!!

Build Quality:

I bought four of these for my family. Two of my children refuse to use it because it reads that it may cause cancer.

Trouble connecting to our group of friends. Tech support remedy was to have everyone in the group check to see if their devices were up to date. I appreciate security concerns but not everyone is willing to fidget with their devices to connect.

Item was sent back. Did not produce what I expected.

I bought the portal after visiting with my youngest son; he was on a portal, I was on a tablet.... Tablet picture was ok, but small... We bought the portal so we could connect using our big screen TV.... Using the portal and TV combination, its like having him and my granddaughter in the room with us. Clear high quality picture and sound.... Every one can see and hear at once!!! The story time feature is amazing!!!!

My son is in the military. His daughter misses him so much, but with the portal she can roll around and tumble and make up stories with the add-on it has, like hes right here with her. This is a must have if your miles apart and always want them right there in the room with you.
