Meta Portal TV - Big Screen Smart Video Calling for Group Calls on Your TV

I was tired of talking to my family and looking at the ceiling. Or even worse, my nieces mouth. Now I can have a family time, long distance without getting dizzy. The camera senses movement and will pan around. It’s incredible.

The problem with this device is that once it is is set up on the TV, the little portal remote takes over the control of your TV (so stupid). When I connected it to the Echo, it took the name of the Samsung television and broke my ability to turn off the “TV”. I’ve managed to change its name to “@%ing Portal”, but my television is still not voice controlled.

Whole family got one so that we could spend Christmas together during this covid stuff. It made us feel like we were together even though we were being safe. Worked out wonderfully, love this product would recommend it for anyone.

We moved to Florida and love using this for the grandparents. The quality is great and the price was great.

I really use the messenger option. But I like how the camera follows and it’s really easy to use and set up.

I just wonder why people have to pay thousands for video conference equipment if they can get this better alternative with an array of 8 mics and a dynamic camera that follows you for a fraction of the cost. Even you dont need to do video conferencing, this may be used a webcam, a picture frame, and a streaming device, which can cost hundreds easily. Get it and explore its functionalities, and you will not regret.
