Miele Classic C1 Turbo Team Bagged Canister Vacuum, Tech Blue - Portable, Household

Not pleased with this unit. The rollers dont do a good job of picking up pet fur from carpeting. When it does pick it up, it tightly winds around the roller brush and has to be cut out. It does best only with pulling it backwards, not forwards. The amount of drag trying to push the roller brush unit forward will break your back. Sorry I bought it. Save your money and buy something that does actually work.....like a Shark Rotator Lift-Away Pro with DuoClean. I bought that one after this Miele failed me and it is a beast. No hair or fur stays on the roller brush with that Shark. You can buy it right off the shelf at WalMart. This Miele Classic C1 Turbo is a piece of junk and you too will be sorry. I dont understand the good ratings. Must be shills.

Bought this for my wife after her 20 yr old Hoover finally died. She loved that old vac and her only complaint was its weight. I read many online reviews and decided on this Miele Classic C1 Turbo Team Bagged Canister Vacuum. Almost right away she complained about the tremendous suction and how on carpet it was very hard to move because it sucked itself to the carpet. The suction adjustment didnt seem to help much and I was ready to send it back, but she said maybe it would get better. Well, here we are 4 months in and she complains about it every time she uses it. youd think for such high suction it could suck up pet hair? But again, it doesnt. I went to Amazon to see if it was too late to return and I dont see an option at this point, so I guess live and learn. Meaning if you dont like something from the start, dont count on it getting any better.

There’s nothing I dislike about this vacuum. I have always had a canister vacuum. When mine broke, I really wanted a cordless vacuum but none of them had the power I wanted. I also found emptying the cup nasty. This vacuum is very light and a breeze to pull along. The handle is very light and easy on my wrist. I pull this vacuum out every day, plug it in and get a fabulously clean floor, with not much hassle at all, because it is very lightweight. Before buying this vacuum I bought a top of the line cordless, with nothing but headaches. I’ll keep my tradition of a canister, knowing my home is really clean. I don’t even mind using this vacuum on my stairs because it’s so light. I call it my blue buddy. I’m very happy with this vacuum, best vacuum I’ve ever owned.

I’ve had this a few months & it’s everything I was looking for. In the past 49 years I’ve had Kenmore canister vacuums which worked great & lived long lives. BUT I’m so stoked I bought this Miele that I recommended it to 3 other people that are as happy as I am. The only thing is cleaning the beater bar of hair with scissors. I do clean it religiously to keep my machine working at optimal level which is top notch for me! It could suck the rug off the floor if I didn’t adjust the suction. I might be OCD or just laser focused on clean floors. *I have always had a dog so this is a must have!!

This is a great vacuum for hardwood floors and low pile carpets. The suction is unbelievable and it comes with all the attachments you need. Made to last and well worth the money.

Needed a new vacuum and I was set on getting a canister unit instead of another stick or upright model. I love this thing. I tried out a Kenmore canister for a month before returning it and getting the Miele. The Miele is superior in every way, there are so many little design details that make using this vacuum enjoyable instead of a frustrating chore.

Do not hesitate to buy this vacuum! Best suction EVER! I had a Dyson and it didn’t come close to this one. The brush head is fantastic for hardwood and area rugs. The fibers in the rug stand back up and it pulls dirt from deep in the fibers. Gets easily into small places like between spindles. Pulls animal fur from under trim without needing to switch attachment. It’s quiet, lightweight, easy to maneuver, and best suction of any I’ve ever used! You will not regret this purchase.

Why is it that if you want a good vacuum in America, you have to buy one made by a foreign company? I dont know (I do know), but I do know that Miele is the way to go for vacuums regardless of where you live. The suction power is incredible and, even without the power head attachment, really deep cleans carpets. I just wish Id been able to afford this one first, instead of all of the useless $100 and $200 vacuums weve lost along the way. Perfect for pet hair - we have a border collie and a long haired cat, and plenty of short-haired pets. The only thing thats come close to the ability to get pet hair out of the carpet like this thing, is carpet scrubbing steam cleaners - and who wants to break that out each week? Perfect for stairs - our stairs have been a wreck for ages, because our uprights could never provide anything close to a good cleaning solution for stairs. The suction power, long hose, secure attachment locks, and especially the low overall weight of this unit make cleaning stairs easy.

I bought this vacuum about a year ago after searching for one which was not made in China. Mine is made in Germany. So happy. After years with a Dyson, this was so much better. My model uses bags instead of dumping the dirt directly into the trash, so much nicer than breathing in and having to touch all the dirt. The filter is also simple to replace. The suction is excellent. I use the power head to vacuum area rugs as we have no carpeting. We also have many animals running around so I must vacuum common areas every other day. The unit is light and easy to maneuver. I no longer dread schlepping out the vacuum. The blue color is a nice touch. The attachments are sufficient for every job. The price was so much less than the most other models. I highly recommend this product for any of your vacuum needs.
