> 24 hourGreat knife, I would have said starter knife but I’ve seen far too many videos as well of using the knife to say this is a great main knife. Batons very well and holds an excellent edge. Really easy to sharpen being a scandy convex grind.

> 24 hourGreat knife, but I would buy the version without the ferro rod holder and knife sharpener if I buy another. The ferro rod fits very loose in the supplied holder, which I didnt realize, so that it fell out and I lost it on the first trip into the field. (I had intended to get the ferro rod out and try it in the field, but it was gone before I could get to it.) The sharpener that is built into the same ferro rod holder is very course and ok for field use, but I would rather just pack a sharpening stone that provides a course and fine side to get a better sharpened knife. As noted before, it is a great knife. Compact and light, but tough enough to get the job done.

> 24 hourI’m regretting not having purchased this knife sooner! My experience with Mora knives have all been very satisfactory, but this one excels beyond the others! I hesitated in buying this knife due to the price, but have quickly discovered that it is actually a pretty good deal! It can handle anything you need it to do! Very well thought out design!

> 24 hourThis is by far the best bushcraft/ survival knife that I have ever had. It has a thick 1/8 carbon steel blade that is absolutely razor sharp. The Scandinavian grind is widely considered the best profile for bushcrafting. It takes an incredibly sharp edge and keeps that edge no matter what you do with it. Sharpening is easily done with a standard whetstone, but Ive never had to do anything other than stropping it with an leather strop containing a honing compound. 5 passes on each side and it will once again split hairs. The spine of the Garberg has been ground to a perfect 90 degrees. This edge allows you throw massive sparks from a ferro rod, and the fact that its carbon means you can even strike a flint for sparks. The spine is so sharp that you need to actually be careful rubbing your fingers against it. This is also a full-tang knife, meaning the metal blade extends all the way through the handIe. The tang actually sticks out of the back of the handle enough that you can strike your ferro rod with it. Thats how I strike mine so that I dont get the spine marred or discolored. The handle is plastic, but not a cheap plastic. It feels solid and heavy in the hand and is slightly soft if you press a fingernail into it. The handle also has no hot spots where it rubs against the hand. You can slice, carve, poke, drill and baton with the Garberg. Basically, this knife checks every box that a bushcrafter looks for. Blade, grind, material, and comfort. The sheath is a tough plastic with retention. It can be mounted basically anywhere and can even attach it to M.O.L.L.E. gear. If you research bushcraft knives, you will find that only the very best have the features that the Garberg has, but you will pay $200 plus for them. To get these features in a knife at the $100 range is absolutely unheard of. Do not hesitate to buy this knife. You will not regret it ever. This is a knife that I will pass down to my son, and he will pass it down to his. I would give the Garberg Carbon six stars if it were possible.

> 24 hourExcellent camping knife. Solid, full tang. The carbon steel keeps a great edge and sharpens well. Not as inexpensive as other Morakniv knives, but well worth the extra dollars if you want a bomb proof knife.

> 24 hourI needed a birthday gift for a 19 year old, who had been an Eagle Scout. He was thrilled with this knife. Fortunately there is an on-line video to show how to use the extra features. A little pricey, but this kids worth it.
