I wasted the past 90 minutes trying to install this software. When I followed the initial steps, I was prompted to create an account but was told that my email address was already associated with an account. So, I requested a password reset 3 times and never received it. Then I spent 30 minutes with Nortons online support and they were unable to email me a password reset. They told me to reboot my computer which seemed like a waste of time and it was. As a workaround, I decided to create an account with a new email address and was able to do so. Then I was prompted to download the software and reboot my machine. So, I installed and rebooted but was prompted to install. I saw no indication that the software had been installed so I repeated the downloading, installation, and rebooting and was once again prompted to download the software. This ordeal was a 90 minute waste of time. I would expect much better of Norton.

I have it installed on my laptop and Android device. I used to have it on my old desktop but purchased a new one that came with a year free McAfee. Im presently comparing the two. Not to keen on the forced Norton auto renew. Ill be disabling that feature soon

I been using Norton for five or six years now (maybe more). This the last time I will bother with this piece of cow dung. Oh it was easy enough to install on my two computers, but when it came to my phone it was more trouble than I could take. Here are some of the things I dont like: it used to state in days the remaining time on your subscription, i.e. 365 when first installed, and count down from there. Now it just says active. When I tried to install it on my smart phone, I was directed to Google Play. The crap I got from google was a 30 day trial version not what I payed for. In addition, on the Norton page where they list my protected devices, it says my phone is not protected. Then I hooked up with the support team listed in the upper righthand corner of the page an Indian sounding woman. So I asked if I would have to pay for her help and she ignored the question and continued to ask for information. Obviously it was a scam to get me to pay for something that should have been free. Therefore, this is the LAST TIME I will be using this or any other Norton product. I dont like being treated as a sucker. And oh yes, its next to impossible to find the page where you can opt out of auto-renewal.

Ive always been satisfied with Nortons various anti-virus and internet security products. Have used their anti-virus on my computers since 1995. I have to admit that Im satisfied with the products, but not their new subscription plan. Like many other software companies, they changed how you register your software. If you purchase from a retail outlet, such as Amazon, you have to give them a credit card or PayPal account that will automatically be billed at the higher subscription rate unless you notify them not to bill your card. Im always looking for the best price available due to limited resources, so thats my opinion on that aspect of the software. Its performance is good. I download the new updates when I sign on to the internet every day and run a brief scan when I sign off. I would recommend Nortons computer security products.

Ive used Norton for years, each year purchasing a new key card. Im very upset about the new subscription direction. Ill renew this year but did consider Kaspersky before purchasing. Also too bad Internet Security was discontinued and Norton 360 is the only option. Not sure what Ill do next year.

Advantage - I like that Norton 360 Deluxe comes with a VPN built-in and the plug-ins for Microsoft Outlook and Firefox. Disadvantage - I am disappointed that they did not include a taskbar icon or start menu icon (both for Windows 8.1 or Windows 10) to activate / deactivate the Norton VPN; instead, you have to open MyNorton window to access the VPN. As a former senior computer hardware engineer who has also worked on multiple software projects over the years, this was an oversight that can easily be solved for Norton 360 Deluxe customers.

Product will work ONLY if activated by the SELLER because it is theft protected. Otherwise, the product is useless. Unfortunately, the seller, Flipsters, DID NOT activate the product before sending it to me. I waited too long to use it and found that it needed to be activated. I cannot get a refund. Amazon customer service employees were sympathetic but could not get a refund for me. I like Norton security products. Norton has a good reputation for pc/internet protection.

I have worked with government security, and I trust Norton 360 Deluxe to protect my sensitive computer/mobile information. I have used them for years. The software is easy to install, is very user friendly, and a great value for the price you pay. I would highly recommend this product.

Ive been a Norton user for a long time, going back to Norton Utilities in the 1990s. Their product is excellent, but the new automatic renewal program is a scam. Two months before the renewal date I went into my Norton Account to turn off the automatic renewal, which I did. Two days later I went back to my Norton Account to verify that automatic renewal had been turned off. It was not. I turned it off again. On recheck it still was not turned off. I let it go, knowing that the credit card on file had been replaced with a new card and number. Sure enough, a month before the renewal date Symantec had tried and failed to charge my account. Every day since then I have received emails and pop-ups imploring me to update the credit card info so they could process the automatic renewal. Fat chance. My renewal date comes up in two weeks, and I fully expect to receive a fantastic renewal offer. Too late. I just now placed an order on Amazon for Bitdefender Total Defender which I will install as Norton expires. A very long relationship is about to end. Goodbye Norton by Symantec.
