Outdoor Z-Wave Plus On/Off Light and Appliance Plug, Two On/Off Smart Outlet, Zwave Hub Required, Works with SmartThings, Wink, Alexa (ZW97)

I used this zwave switch to operate my outdoor Christmas lights this year, worked flawlessly. My switch sat on the porch out of the weather but cold temperatures didn’t seem to affect it. I’m not sure how well it would hold up out in the rain and snow. Connected to Smartthings quick and easy. I only wish, instead of having one plug switched and one plug on all the time, they were both switched independently. Overall I’m happy with it.

The EvaLogic outdoor smart outlet worked perfectly with my Home Assistant instance. Easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to control. Highly recommended.

Had it a few months, 95 degrees F and in direct sun and all still works fine. Water resistance seems adequate (mine hangs vertically), angled plug was helpful for my install (top hinged outdoor cover).

Like the apparent quality build, outlet covers, independent switch controls and the manual on/off button. Integrated seamlessly with my OpenHAB 3 system using the ZWave binding. Only downside is that the power connection cord is slightly too short to mount snugly beside my outdoor power outlet. Another 6” would’ve been perfect.

I bought this as I was looking for a solution for outdoor lighting in my garden. I decided to use this product with an outdoor power strip to power a group of LED lights. I connected this with my SmartThings hub without incident, and it has remained on the network reliably ever since. Control through both SmartThings and Alexa (by way of SmartThings) is flawless. It hasnt been through the worst rain Seattle has to offer yet, but so far so good. I bought the Z-wave solution because the range should be superior to WiFi. I havent tested this beyond 10 or so meters yet, but so far, so good.

Bought two of these and neither of them is in use. I own and use over 50 z-wave devices in my home. Only a handful of them were retired due to unreliability, and these fall into that camp. More often than not, they just wouldnt respond. Furthermore, having these devices turned on was impacting the entire z-wave network. Will be staying away from this brand from now on.

Couldnt get the app to control both outlets. Give up.

I bought this for use outside to control a water fountain. It paired easily with my zwave hub and works with no issue.

Is good and work perfect

When I use Alexa only one plug will come on or shut off. Not both at the same time. I will have to go in manually and turn on or off one of the outlets.
