I love these bulbs . It allowed us to be very lazy and make our lamps turn themselves on and off. I can even do it remotely when I’m not home. This is great for travelers

I bought these lights to have some rgb smart lights to put around the house in a few places, but primarily for the Razer integration features. I own a few Razer products, and these are some of the only lights that work in conjunction with the Razer Synapse App, and products. I had issues with the app recognizing my lights as color lights, for the setting up zones feature, but Hue customer support was reachable through Facebook messenger, and they were super friendly and helpful. After all was said and done, a factory reset (and then update) of each bulb was the fix. If you run into any issues with the bulbs, try searching the instructions for factory resetting the bulbs, and try to reset the setup from there! The feature I think the Hue app is lacking, is the option to have your colors change on a loop. Almost every RGB strip, and smart light Ive seen, has multiple options for this, and its something I dont seem to see anywhere in the official Philips-made Hue app. Theres many different scenes that they provide in the Hue Scene Gallery, but theres not even an option to have it automatically change themes every X amount of time. You have to change the scene through the app manually. Theres several different 3rd party apps and programs that cycle colors of your hue lights automatically, so Im glad that theres an option out there. But for how expensive these lights are, Im blown away by why this isnt a feature in the actual Hue app. Please Philips, add a color cycle feature to the app! Other than that complaint, I really do enjoy these lights. They create a nice ambiance to the room when watching movies, playing games, or relaxing. I probably wouldnt have spent this much on RGB smart lights if i didnt want the integration with the Razer products though, and unfortunately I wouldnt recommend these to others if they werent looking to do the same. There are several other companies that offer similar lights/accessories, and probably have more features on their app. If you want lights that synchronize with your razer products though, these lights work great, and are really easy to use, and setup with other apps!

I can’t saw I was more pleased by any recent tech purchase I’ve made. By far the simplest yet best update I’ve done to the house. 10/10 would recommend

These bulbs are great. I should have purchased these from the beginning. The only thing that kept me away was the priced because they do cost more than I would like to spend on a product like this. However, they are clearly the best smart bulbs on the market. Pros: 1) They maintain a connection to the Home app better than any bulb I have tried. 2) The colors they produce are so much nicer than other bulbs. Right out of the box it was immediately apparent that the colors were just beautiful. They seem so much more natural than other bulbs. 3) The variety of colors is amazing and the apps ability to let you pick a color through Siri that isnt necessarily a standard color is fun as well. For example, I asked it to change the color to a pumpkin orange. It also knows colors that you typically only see in a Crayon box, like cerulean. 4) The use of a bridge combined with Zigbee. At first I thought I would prefer bulbs that connected directly to my WiFi network as opposed to using a bridge. However, I have come to realize that having them on their own frequency keeps them from causing congestion on my WiFi network. Now I only have the bridge and the bulbs talk to the bridge and each other. 5) The bridge just stays connected. Cons: 1) At first, when I was connecting it to my Home and syncing over the rooms, there was a dance I had to play as I was adding a room at the same time. It took a few tries to get everything synchronized but now that it is, Ive had zero problems. 2) It would be great if they made a brighter version. That isnt really a con against these because they are as bright as they are advertised to be, but since I cant get a brighter version, I need to list that here.

Overpriced... They work well but I wish the hub had its own WiFi antenna instead of having it plugged into my router. I want wireless, its not 2000 anymore. Why cant you automatically connect to the home WiFi. I wish the app told you what Kelvin the lights were at. I use certain lights for tv backlighting and I keep hearing 6k Kelvin is the best white to use but I cant tell because the app just has a slider without numbers. I wish the bulbs we slightly brighter, lifx has 1000 lumen bulbs for just as much. I also wish I could use the Huehub as a hub for other zigbee/zwave devices. Now for the good: Good app, tons of integration capabilities, easy setup and zigbee (not WiFi). The only reason I bought this was because it went on sale for almost 50 bucks off the normal price and it had soooo many integrations. This stuff is so overpriced its crazy. Too bad suckers like me pay for it because maybe Philips would get the message and drop the prices.

The lights are amazing! They are great to set the ambience in any room. Hooking it up to your smart device is simple and effortless.

Bridge dependent which limits use and connectivity. Also pretty pricey...Best if budget allows more than a few.
