The white 3 pack was a great value for the price, but for a household that doesnt like warm white/soft white, these were a real let down. No where on the listing does it show the packaging or tell you which version of white these are. Theyre definitely not daylight, which is what we prefer.

The bulbs work fine, and the range of colors and brightness is very wide. My issue is with Phillips... Y not make them Bluetooth compatible?!?!?! If its storming outside I have to wait for a pocket of connection if I want to change the lights. I can still manually tuen the lights on, but theyre orange, not bright white.... And cant change the colors. For how EXPENSIVE these damn bulbs AND THE HUB!!! Phillips shouldve made the BT capable. Its ridiculous.

You need this in your life, or at least I do, I didn’t realize how much. I received this for Christmas and am obsessed! I got the starter kit with 3 color bulbs, the bridge and the light switch. Within two days I went and bought the Hue Go lamp (LOVE!), a plain white bulb (dims only for garbage) and two ambient white bulbs for places I don’t need color. It was so fun to set up and play with different light scenes. I use Apple HomeKit (built in iphone app) and can control the lights with Siri. I’ve created scenes which are calming, euphoric and energizing. I have found this improves my mood and calms me. When I get home from work and have a soft rose gold sort of glow in the room Ive found I’m more likely to put on music and tinker than go straight to the TV, which helps my mood as well. It’s fun to have guests over and say “Hey Siri, red moon” and have my lights dim down to a pink-red glow while their eyes widen with surprise, then I say “Hey Siri, arrive home” and the lights return to the warm and calm glow that is my favorite so far. I’m hooked.

Great set up BTW Hue and Bridge are the same thing. Hope this clears up some confusion.

The update process needs to be improved if Philips wants to maintain superiority.

Not quite what I expected. There not the correct lights for running my entertainment set up like I thought. Purchased hue play considering light strips. But easy set up lots of colors to choose from quite expensive for what they do though

Ive had cheap color changing bulbs in the past and theres a few things that are different in these versus those no-hub bulbs. Firstly, they are not nearly as reliable. This is in regards to connection as well as response time. My cheapo bulbs tend to get disconnected every 1.5-2 weeks while these Philips bulbs do not disconnect EVER. 2nd, the cheapo bulbs do not get NEARLY as bright as these do, especially when I put them on white or warm white colors. The Philips bulbs are more accurate in terms of color reproduction. Hue app is great. These work with all 3 major smart home hubs/apps (Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit). The downside is the price. Although, I got these when they were $99 for 3 bulbs + hub, their normal price of $149 or higher is just outrageous. The bulbs should be $75 tops but meh, what can you do. WIthout quality competitors, Philips can continue to keep the price this high. Hopefully soon, competitors will be able to replicate the quality that Philips and LIFX provide.
