> 24 hourPokémon is always a hit and I’ll buy them every time. This is not the best game of the franchise but lots of fun nonetheless!

> 24 hourSigh. The more and more Im playing it the more Im realizing what a cash grab these releases were. Im sure the post game content will be great but for someone whos still trudging along through the main story it feels like deja vu from Sun and Moon. Speaking of the main story, its soooooo slow. I also keep waiting for something different to happen but honestly there isnt much. Sure, theres tweaks/small improvements here and there along the way but nothing that makes you go WOW! Anyways, for veterans of the series the word disappointing is an understatement. However, for newbies looking to get into the series and not experiencing Alola yet I would definitely recommend it. I just feel like they could have done so much more with this game after Sun and Moon. Oh well...

> 24 hourHonestly, it feels like a great send off for the series on the DS series of consoles. Tons of features, a wonderful story, and overall one of the best, if not the best, in the franchise. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon blew away all of my expectations. I liked the original Sun and Moon but this updated version just feels so much more...complete. Its amazing and a must have for any pokemon fan or anyone looking to get into the series!

> 24 hourMost of story contents are the same as Sun and Moon, which makes the game playing experience very boring. The post game content is still extremely poor especially compared to Black 2/ White 2 (Mantine surfing and photoclub do not add much to the post game content). And game freak still sells this game as double versions. If they sell it as one version like Platinum or Emerald I will be fine with it. However, selling the game in two versions really means that they are trying to squeeze as much money out of pokemon fans pocket as possible when they are trying to do as little work as possible. I remember in an interview Gamefreak stuff said that this story is extremely different from the story in Sun and Moon. However, how it becomes extremely different when the first 20 hours of gaming experience are exactly what we have experienced in Sun and Moon? They also said the story content would be around double of Pokemon Sun and Moon. Actually other than the post game team rocket content, the remaining more story contents are just more meaningless dialogues and choices, tutorials, and mostly boring side quests (Other than ditto quests and training school quests, they are actually interesting). This game only worth a 10 dollars Necroma and team rockets DLC, not a 40 dollars full game. Selling it as two different versions really reflects Game Freaks mind: No matter how little effort we put in making a game, you loyal pokemon fans will still buy it, so what is the point for us to contribute more efforts to make a game anyway? BTW, many buildings inaccessible in sun and moon are still inaccessible in this so called ultra version, such as the tower in Malie garden, and many empty spaces remain empty ( such as the wasted space in Pony island. I really cannot believe how lazy and perfunctory Game Freak has become.

> 24 hourA good game thats an upgraded version of Moon. However, the story has remained the same and feels like a repeat. Wouldve been great if it was a sequel like Black/White 2. Despite the nitpicks, I found the game enjoyable and would recommend for those who havent played it.

> 24 hourPokémon Ultra Moon very quickly became my favorite installment in the series. I waited a bit to jump on and play this entry but it was well worth it. The savings vs in-store was great too. Player since Generation 1.
