Pokémon Ultra Moon - Nintendo 3DS

First Pokemon game since Pearl. Very fun. Has enough old Pokemon I can still follow everything and a nice mix of fresh new content. I cannot speak to the improvement over sun/moon however as I did not play them.

If you have played through Pokemon Sun or Moon already then the Ultra versions are not going to be adding too much for you. Its basically the same game as those versions with a few minor tweaks to the story regarding a new Legendary Pokemon or Ultra Beast. Really the game doesnt change much at all till after youve beaten the Elite Four and go into post game. Still it does streamline the game a bit, but adds some minor annoyances too. Really wouldnt recommend spending the money on it though if youve already got Sun or Moon, but if you havent picked up either of those then go ahead and get the Ultra version.

The game play is really fun but a lot of my friends ( myself included ) that this could have easily been a DLC to buy rather than its own game.

Honestly, it feels like a great send off for the series on the DS series of consoles. Tons of features, a wonderful story, and overall one of the best, if not the best, in the franchise. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon blew away all of my expectations. I liked the original Sun and Moon but this updated version just feels so much more...complete. Its amazing and a must have for any pokemon fan or anyone looking to get into the series!

Havent played it yet but it arrived new so I cant complain

First of all, THIS IS NOT A SEQUEL! This is an Omega Ruby/ Alpha Sapphire type deal, where its remade but better. I bought this thinking it was a sequel or a successor, akin to Black and White 1 and 2. I am disappointed that the game is essentially Sun and Moon but with some modifications and additions. However, I the game is pretty good and does improve a fair amount from the originals. It still has pokemon, they still need to be caught, and you still need to farm the heck out of those SOS battles to get pokemon with perfect IVs. You only need one adrenaline orb now, so thats nice. Oh, and the lag from totem battles are gone, which is lovely.

Its Pokemon. Come on. Do you really need a review for this? Its been 20 years, if you dont know if you like Pokemon by now then my little words here arent gonna help you. Ultra Moon is pretty much an expansion to the original Sun and Moon. Theres some minor story changes here and there, but most of its post game. By now - like me, youve seen the trailers, you know the bad guys are back! And that was reason enough for me to grab it.

Honestly I have an issue with Pokémon games I buy like one of each but with ultra sun and moon I have like 6 copies of each. Don’t know how or why but I do

My son has gotten pretty far and I have to fight him to put the game down! Loves it so much. He’s played ultra sun and loved it and mentioned this one for Christmas. Got it pretty quick and the price was pretty good.

I pre ordered through amazon and was hesitant to finally sitting down to play the game since there are so many negative reviews but i just have to say its still pretty good its the same exact story they just changed it a little bit here and there and added new stuff seems more like an upgraded/remake of the first ones (like pokemon platinum) it is worth the money cuz pokemon games r always like this idk y people r complaining about it. Maybe they just released the games too early? But o well im extremely happy with my purchase of the game Would rate it more stars if i can :)
