> 24 hourVery poorly designed, their install instructions doesnt walk you thru what you need to know to use the program and is very glitchy! Unable to play DVD from any DVD player on TV after burning to disk from their program! Would not recognize my DVD player/Burner! And of course, Microsoft doesnt feel its compatible with windows 10! I had to drag and drop the file from the desktop on my laptop to my DVD burner that my laptop did recognize and use the Any DVD FROM MICROSOFT to play the VHS video on the laptop, again not on a TV! Their customer service only put in a service request ticket and told me someone would contact me, no technical help at all!

> 24 hourIm Digitizing all og my media. Prior to purchasing this Roxio device I was transferring my VHSs to DVD and then to digital. I got tired of buying Blank DVDs, so, I bought a cheap Converter. It didnt work. The video was all scrambled and distorted, like the tapes were Macro protected. I purchased th Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus and It worked perfectly right out of the box, with no problems.

> 24 hourThis works good for the RCA to USB conversion, capturing video and converting it to mpg format. It has functioned well to save other formatted media to a computer hard drive. Some video glitches have occurred; however, I cant tell if that was because the old player was failing or the converter was just not seeing the signal. I have had a few times when the audio blanked out. It wasnt during anything critical, but it happened on several occasions.

> 24 hourAlthough this software is easy to use, it crashes regularly. When the files are large, it takes hours to convert them to DVD if it works at all. There is an update patch to this software that I installed but it does not take care of the crashes and long delays. I am in the market for an alternative to this. I thought Roxio knew what they were doing. I was able to convert three tapes and do some captures so it sort of works, but I have 30-50 tapes to do and I dont trust this stuff.

> 24 hourSo far Im very disappointed in the customer support I am receiving for this product. I followed the directions on the use of the product however, I had 3 issues. 1) No Audio, 2) After burning DVD and played, it only played for less than a minute and then started over (even though in the program it shows and plays on my computer at over 1 hr. with no audio), 3) On the DVD it applied a theme to my video which I dont want as it makes the video picture very small - I just want the video on the DVD. I couldnt find anywhere in the program to choose no theme. I called the customer support # yesterday and after being on hold for 20 minutes I was told there was no one available that I could speak with and a service ticket was established and told someone would email me. I explained in detail the 3 problems I was having and also mentioned I would like to speak with someone as I felt trying to get the issues resolved through email was not going to work well. Despite my request for a call back, I received an email this morning with a suggestion to fix audio issue - no other issue mentioned. I emailed back twice requesting a call back and now havent heard anything - email or phone call. I was hoping to be able to copy a whole bunch of videos this weekend for a family Christmas gathering but apparently thats not going to happen now : (.....

> 24 hourA friend had very positive results with the Macintosh version and recommended it. I bought this product. Please pass it by. What you get in the package is the hardware USB interface and 2 blank disks. You are directed to a website at Roxio to download the software. So, after 2 days of attempting to install the software, all Ive accomplished is a waste of time. No software should every take this much effort to install. After downloading 750MB the installer progresses a little bit and says an error has occurred and quits. Forget tech support. Ive gotten the standard responses like: 1) shut down the firewall and anti-virus protection and 2) create a new user account with admin privileges (and go through the entire process again. The most frustrating part of the support experience is that the support rep insisted I provide him with a license key. News Flash: This package has no license key info. I needed to take photos of the box and email them to the support desk to prove I was an actual purchaser. (Incidentally, the software does not begin the install process without the USB hardware attached to the computer). Long and the short of it: Ive gotten a return authorization and its going back to Amazon. And, finally, Corel tech support gave that as their final recommendation: return what I bought and purchase another package (probably directly from them) with a software CD enclosed. No one should spend this much time just getting the software installed. PS: Running Windows 10 (64-bit) on new Dell with Intel Dual Core CPU (3Ghz) with 8 GB Ram and 1 TB HD.
