Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I am in love with this SSD memory card freshly installed in my PC. I am trilled of how much it helped improved the speed on my computer and the capacity its running on right now.

I had an old laptop that needed a new hard drive. The new SSD hard drive works perfectly. The SSD is basically plug and play, but because my machine was older I had to do a little fiddling around to get it to work. But I’ve had it several months now and no problems at all.

Loved everything about this drive! Replaced my old hdd in laptop with it. Samsung software was super easy to use to mirror my old drive... Installed and ran without Abby issues!! Super fast!!

I bought this for my Alienware R2, simply downloaded the Samsung Migration tool, cloned the old hard drive in about 30 minutes, replace and boom! I went from a 1 minute boot time, to barely 20 seconds with Antivirus, and everything else loaded. Samsung is still the king of SSDs. Would buy so many more

I order the Samsung SSD 860 EVO to replace the Hard Drive in my old HP Pavilion Desktop. Want to avoid hard drive failure and having to reload all the OS and user software. I made the mistake of purchasing the $89 Computer Hard Drive Installation - At Your Location that Amazon had listed next to this product.

I was using an old disc drive before upgrading to the 860 EVO. The performance difference is night and day. Loading screens that used to take a minute now take 10 seconds. Booting my computer went from a 5 minute ordeal to 15 seconds, with none of that annoying lag as systems initialize.

I use it for my operating system and storage. I can surely say my computer is running much faster than my previous mechanical drive. So far I havent experienced any problem or any data loss with the drive after using it for several months now so Im pretty satisfied with it.

I used the Samsung software along with a usb data cable to copy my previous drive over to this Samsung. It installed only in a matter of minutes once the copying was completed between the drivers. My computer boots up so much faster than when it had a traditional hard drive in it. If you are on the fence about spending the money, particularly if you have had your computer for a while, dont even question it. Just do it! I can honestly say its the best upgrade I have done to any of my computers in a long time. I am so happy with the results so far.

Many of my purchases here are made in great part based on the reviews an item gets. With regards to this Samsung SSD, I have to say that I was very happy and satisfied with the results I got. What I had read about the speed at which pcs/laptops boot up after being upgraded to SSD drives was true! I upgraded the ddr in my HP Envy laptop to this 860EVO and got amazing boot up results! My HP would take an agonizingly long time to but up with the stock ddr. After upgrading, its a flash! My drive was in a factory sealed package, and did not include the migration software I read was included. But I went to the Samsung website and was able to download from there no issues. The instructions that came with the drive were crap. Along with the drive I ordered an SATA to USB cable (which you will need in order to complete the data migration from your existing drive to the the ssd). Ironically, the cable instructions told me exactly what I needed to do in order to initialize the ssd drive. The migration program then pretty much takes over and does the rest.
