I like it a lot better than that rubber thing with one broken ear and nails sticking up. Its a good length too, and flat. Works good. Costs too much.

Like this sander for final fine and extra fine sanding of flat surfaces and their flat edges. Like the ability of using a whole sheet of sand paper but you need to keep in mind which direction to cut the sheet. Easy placement and removal of sand paper strips.

I bought one to try because I was tired of sanding blocks where the paper was always loose. I now own four of them with different colors so I can tell which grade of sandpaper each one has.

I am a homeowner that does a fair amount of woodworking. I have used just about every type of sanding block there is and NONE compare with this product. The sandpaper is easy to install and the Preppin Weapon holds it very tightly. I purchased 4 different colors and have installed a different grit in each. Also cutting the paper to the correct size is very easy. I have made a number of ~$100 purchases to support my woodworking tasks and this ranks among the best. If you are frustrated with sanding blocks that make installing new sandpaper difficult or with paper that is not held securely, this is the product for you.

These are the cats meow...so good that I now have eight in my sanding arsenal (60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 220, and >= 320). Theyre color-coded (red for rough, yellow for intermediate, green for finish, and blue for even finer finishing) with the applicable grit written in Sharpie on the flat just above the metal gripper. These make sanding almost tolerable which, in my book, is high praise. One could argue that, with the efficient sandpaper changing design, I couldve gotten by with just one, but I really hate sanding so I wanted to make it as easy as possible.

After many years of doing woodworking as a hobby I have finally found a Sanding Block that holds the paper tight, is easy to load and great for sanding. I have tried many sanding blocks over the years and never found one as convenient to use as the Preppin Weapon. It is definitely worth the money.
