Saw this block in a video somewhere and got curious. Did a little looking around online and found a whole lot of positive reviews so I decided to splurge. Man, am I glad I did. This block is great! If you do a lot of sanding you need to get one (or more). Loads up easily with a quarter sheet strip of sandpaper and locks in place with no slippage. Easy to grip and the rubber padding provides good contact with the workpiece. Because of the locking design you can even remove a used sheet without damaging it a save for use later. As soon as my boss tried mine he went online and ordered 2 more. Gotta love a simple, practical, well-made tool. Stop reading, get one.

Was recommended this by some woodworkers so I bit the bullet and got one. Very comfortable in the hand, easy to use, nice and flat sole, and its super solid. Great product and definitely something I recommend everyone get.

There’s a time and a place for an orbital sander, but I hand sand when I can, and have always enjoyed it. Have used a variety of sanding blocks, and never gave them much thought. And then I got the Preppin’ Weapon. (This is an awesome name, btw.) I love it! I told my husband it is my favorite thing in my tool shop, and is my favorite amazon purchase EVER. The important details to me: 1) The weight. It’s substantial enough, with evenly distributed weight, that I don’t feel like I have to push it or muscle it, resulting in a much more even surface, with no unintentional deep marks. It glides. 2) Shape/size: I’m a somewhat taller than average woman, average weight, and this fits perfectly in my hands. And I think it is sized and shaped well enough to fit most hands. 3) It HOLDS the paper, with a perfect and simple clip on each end. No slipping! 4) It is already saving me sandpaper. Good sandpaper is a must, and this seemed a little pricey to me. But between saving paper and increasing the quality of my work, I’m ready to buy more so I can have several grits loaded!

The Preppin Weapon is the most comfortable hand sander I have ever used. It is pricier than most but its worth it. Buy it and youll see what Im talking about.
