> 3 dayCurrently own three of these and would highly recommend. Smooth, comfortable shape for low-fatigue sanding. Not inexpensive but a quality tool that should last a lifetime.

> 3 dayThis is by far the best sanding block I have ever used, and Ive used a few over the past 60 years. A bit pricey, but when quality matters it is well worth it.

Greater than one weekI took the advice of some of the reviewers and bought 3 of these (Red, Yellow, Green) for different grits. I finally got the chance to use them earlier this week, and I absolutely love this product. Easy to load, great fit in my hand, large flat 1/4 sheet surface, light weight. I absolutely love it. So much so, that I just added the blue one to the cart as well. I do wish the pad was a higher durometer foam, that may be some improvement Ill make down the road.

> 3 dayFirstly, I am a serious hobbyist, not a production woodworker. I use exclusively hand tools, sharp ones :-) and I try to do very little sanding. (As a matter of fact, I hate sanding) But, lots of people do a lot of sanding and we all do some of it, no matter what our working style or methods. These things are great. Sure I could fuss with some little pieces of wood, and felt, or neoprene or some such, not to mention wingnuts etc. and make my own cool little sanding blocks, but for the savings in time and effort these things are really a smarter solution. Ergonomic, the mechanism works reliably, makes better use of every square inch of your sandpaper, color-coded for godsakes!... Need I say more? I hate sanding less now. And I am grateful.

> 3 dayVery robust construction. As close to an heirloom quality tool as youll get with a sanding block. I got two and will likely get a third. Each will use a different grit paper for quick changes.

> 3 dayI wasnt happy with a couple of previous sanding blocks. Thought I would try this one. It works great holding the sandpaper and is easy to grasp for sanding. Also, it saves on sandpaper expense because you end of using more of the paper for sanding.

> 3 dayA serious sanddr for serious jobs. Not good if you have small hands and the foam pad will rip if the sandpaper tears and leaves the foam exposed. Get a bright color so you dont lose it. You can use the sander as a guide to fold and tear appropriate width paper to use. Load on several sheets at one so you can tear a worn one off and have a fresh one ready. Or buy a few and use one for each grit you use. These are not detail sanders. There are better sanders for that. Put this one is powerful and will handle 1000 just as well as it does with 80. If they could fix the foam issue and maybe make a version for smaller hands, itd be 5 stars.
