these are awesome sanding blocks and the variety of colors allows me to load a different grit on each one and know what Im reaching for -- green (Go!) start with 100; blue, 120; yellow (get ready to stop) 150; red (stop after this one), 180.

This is the easiest sanding block ever for attaching the sandpaper. The face of the block is excellent, so I get a great finish. I would like to buy a couple more in different colors.

These are great! They make sanding fast and efficient, I would bet they are more efficient than ROS. I have 2 and plan to get 2 more, so I quickly sand the sequence.

Great prep block. Works great with rolls of sand paper. The clamps keep the paper tight and it is easy to use. Made the job easier!

$20+ to hold sand paper?? I can do that with a twob’four!! That’s what I thought until I tried it. Now I have two. I use them mostly for softening edges on hardwood furniture. Several things make this irreplaceable: - firmly holds on to your sandpaper - uses almost 100% of the quarter sheet strip (no wrapping most of it around a block) - heavy weight and long length improves sanding consistency—important for making those edges look and feel just right. - the firm foam-like bottom has just the right amount of softness for smooth sanding Unfortunately, we spend more time than we’d like sanding. It’s worth investing a little bit to make it more enjoyable and do a better job of it.

Very Sturdy and Comfortable, just buy it..... Sanding will never get better than this. Its a must.....

This was a Christmas gift last year and this is the first time I had to use it on the chop of my workbench I built this year. A sanding block is something that almost doesn’t deserve a review I think but I really like this. It’s size is perfect for straightening out an edge which is what I used it for today. It fits perfectly in the hand and I think this may reduce fatigue ‘cause I used the heck out of it and my arm was tired but not my hand. I wasn’t sure how well the clamps would hold the paper, it just didn’t look that secure to me. Well rest assured, the paper is still on the block on both ends and not a tear to be found. Only thing wrong with it is that I need another two or three.

I have always hated sanding. I still hate sanding, but this sanding block is at least easy to use and switch sandpapers with; just flip the levers to loosen the hooks, slide the sandpaper in, and tighten the levers to tighten the hooks. There is no functional difference in the colors available. Different colors are for shops that have multiple sanding blocks out at one time in order to differentiate the grit.
