> 3 dayPricey, but it is easy to get the sandpaper taunt on it. Wish they made one for smaller hands.

Greater than one weekI use power tools for most sanding, but do hand sanding just before staining. I also hand sand between protective coats. This give a great smooth finish. The only problem is it is heavy. If the job is large you will really feel it. I didnt try to take it apart but I feel sure it could be lighter without compromising its function.

> 3 dayBut the Preppin Weapon makes it as tolerable as it can be. Dimensions are correct so you use a whole sheet without a narrow strip left over. The attachment mechanism is great - solid and secure, absolutely doesnt slip. The foam base has just the right amount of give. Feels good in your hand and is really comfortable to use. Cant believe I waited so long to buy one...

21-04-2025I really like these sanding blocks. As someone else recommended, the next step will be to buy the rest of the colors available and dedicate separate grits to each to make workflow faster.

> 3 dayA great hand sanding block. I have all five colors and keep five different grades of sandpaper on them. Each color always has the same grade so I can quickly find what I need. They are great.

> 3 dayStupid-smart engineering. > The dual locks on the ends are extremely effective in securing the sandpaper. > Perfectly sized for standard sheets of sandpaper My only note is that it definitely has a hefty grip - if you have small hands, you might get frustrated. But it does the job very well

> 3 dayThis was a Christmas gift last year and this is the first time I had to use it on the chop of my workbench I built this year. A sanding block is something that almost doesn’t deserve a review I think but I really like this. It’s size is perfect for straightening out an edge which is what I used it for today. It fits perfectly in the hand and I think this may reduce fatigue ‘cause I used the heck out of it and my arm was tired but not my hand. I wasn’t sure how well the clamps would hold the paper, it just didn’t look that secure to me. Well rest assured, the paper is still on the block on both ends and not a tear to be found. Only thing wrong with it is that I need another two or three.
