I bought this based on a Finewoodworking article. The foam rubber is so thick and soft that the sandpaper tears every time you sand near a corner. It only works in the middle of large flat surfaces. There are better cheaper alternatives.

Very robust construction. As close to an heirloom quality tool as youll get with a sanding block. I got two and will likely get a third. Each will use a different grit paper for quick changes.

Very well made and durable product. Clamps that hold sandpaper in place are easy to operate but stay closed tightly once moved into position. Sander is lightweight and floats. Recommend buying multiple colors for easy ID of various grits you typically use.

I keep four of these handy with 4 different grits. They are ready to grab and put to use. Fit my hand well. Would like to have a smaller size available for tighter places, perhaps half the width and half the length but the same design.

I love the fact that you use more of the sheet surface than with other sanding blocks. I also like the weight and it is easy to load. The only issue for me was that it is slightly less comfortable in the left hand (I am left handed). I dont know if the rods can be swapped but it would probably require replacing the pad so I wont bother. I expect I will buy a couple more as time goes on.

Love the feel of it and it does replace all of my old sanding blocks.... I wish i bought this sanding block long time ago because it does save a tons of my time when i am doing my final touches to my wood projects.

great for hand sanding. This makes a world of difference. I cant believe I didnt have one of these all this year.
