> 24 hourI bought this to put a privacy knob on our home office to keep our granddaughter out. It is reversible and easy to install. I merely had to switch the barrel to have the handle face the right direction.

> 24 hourI was able to get the left hand side at my local home improvement store. Luckily the side I needed was available on Amazon. Need it to match my other door handles. Great finish and quality

> 24 hourWe were remodeling a 30 year old house for the first time and wanted to change the feel from whatever-the-builder-got-on-the-cheap to something a bit more refined. This style looked great to us, but to me the more important thing was the build, the weight, the feel of the handle. Im of the belief that you open and close doors all day every day, so you really want it to be a good experience. For that reason I prefer solid core doors, they just feel so much more stable. Along those lines, I hate it when a door knob is either jiggly or has a cheap feeling when turned. I tried these out at Home Depot before buying them, and they were the most solid that I could find there. Id give them only a 9/10 though, as I know there are other handles even more solid (but I couldnt get the brand or find them online easily). Ill certainly be buying more of these when I get to redo our main floor.

> 24 hourThe biggest thing to note is we purposely installed it upside down compared to the install directions. They show to install it with the end of the S curve handle pointing upward. But we like these types of handles with the end pointing downward. With it downward it is easier to use your elbow to push down the handle, if your hands are full, and let your arm slide off the handle as you enter. Looking online, some other companies do show them downward as well. I think the handle works just as well either way (we have tried it both ways). If you want to change the end of the handle from pointing up or down to the other way, you just switch which handle you put on the inside of the door and the outside of the door.

> 24 hourI returned it because the finish wasn’t done correctly at the end of the handle.

> 24 hourI bought a few smart dead bolts, in a matte black finish and wanted basic non-locking levers to go with them. Initially I wanted a fancy entry handle but couldn’t find anything I liked. I found these by chance and I ended up buying one of these and after seeing how well it matched the finish and style, I bought another 2. We are already planning on replacing the rest of the knobs in the house, with the bed/bath version of the same style.

> 24 hourThis is the box version F40ACC605 for use with both Left Hand and Right Hand hinge doors. Left or right is determined by which side the hinges are on when looking at the door from the outside. This was preset for a left hand door and easily convertible if right hand. From what I can tell the F40VACC605 is the plastic retail packed version. It comes with a finger pin to reverse the handles, includes the latch, plates, circular latch end piece if yours doesnt use the plate and full instructions. Replacement of my broken old Left Hand style took less than 10 minutes and it works perfectly. the end of the outside handle at the pin hole is slightly different than my original left hand specific brass lever lockset, but most people would not see the difference and it matches perfectly in all other ways. Great product and super price from Amazon.
