Easy setup, well pleased.

I had a problem with the set up program regarding getting it to recognize the blinking light status. ( you have to touch the text for “confirm light is blinking” this allows the next button activation and the tethering process to continue. Kudos to Darren and Diana from support. They were great at following up with me to clear this up allowing me to program my plugs

Works well once you get past the difficulty of completing the setup process. I’ve purchased five of these and they are always a challenge to program

I have now used 3 of these. I bought one a few months ago and it worked well! I had a lava lamp plugged into it and it worked well with the app for a few months. I decided I would buy a second one for my salt lamp, thats where the issues started. On the other side of the room I plugged in this other socket to a surge protector, it worked for maybe a few days, then suddenly stopped. I couldnt reconnect it, I was in the return window still so I decided to try for a replacement. The replacement didnt connect either, and I accidentally lightly nudged my lava lamp plug and it decided to stop connecting and couldnt reconnect either. Im not sure whats up with these, I wish I could go back in time and not buy a second one I guess.

After posting my original review below the company was quick to contact me. They sent me 4 new products which work great. They continued to follow up with shipping updates and I did not need to do anything. Great response time and customer service. I purchased a box of 4 of these a few months ago. I had not had a great use for them as of yet as I was just getting things set up with my Alexa at home. Today when I tried to set them up I discovered that none of the 4 work at all. When I plug them in the light turns on for a few seconds and then goes off. The on/off switch on all 4 do not work at all and therefore you can not set up the device. I then looked at some recent reviews to see if others were having the same problem in case I could trouble shoot to fix it myself and discovered others also received some that do not work at all. I am very disappointed.

These are a little bigger than I thought but work perfectly for the Christmas lights and the timer setting comes in handy. Only draw back is you have to download the hbn app, they dont connect to Alexa without doing that 1st. Other brands I have been able to connect with Alexa with adding another app to my phone. But needed if you want to use the timer option.

Easy wifi, iPhone, and Alexa integration. I bought 8 for my Christmas window candles. It was easy to create a Christmas light “group”. They are on a timer and it’s so cool how great they come on and off at the same time!!! Easy to rename and use elsewhere after Christmas.

I was unable to get the app that comes with it to recognize it- which then made my Alexa app not useable. So I cant really say- but if nothing else the ability to set it up was not there. so as a normal plug with a on off I guess its ok.

The only issue I had is my phone wouldnt scan the tiny qr code on the back- I looked at these reviews though and someone mentioned the name of the app you need (HBN Smart). It took me two minutes to set it up and provided hours of entertainment turning the lamp on my husbands side of the couch off and on. We cant wait to have friends over so I can mess with them too

This was 1000% amazing. I bought it in January, and it died in April. When I unplug it from the wall I hear somethings loose inside like it broke. It worked yesterday and then it just didn’t. However this is such an amazing product that I ordered another one. Since I gave the review the Company reached out to me and offered a full refund. I’m more than happy to try it again because it really is a great product.
