The noise cancellation is lovely! I love that you can control the degree of noise cancellation and choose to focus on voices or the environment! these headphones are so light despite their design. I think this is a worthwhile purchase!

So the description says Silver but it’s more a dark/neutral cream color so didn’t love that. I had to download a separate app just to pair this which I thought was annoying because I had to setup a whole other account password etc so it didn’t feel compatible it felt like when you have to buy an AUX cord to connect to your car And quite often my phone would seek out my AirPods over my new headphones so that was inconvenient The sound is great and the noise cancellation is good it’s just not suited for people who have 10 apple products and one non Apple product

I have zero complaints about the audio quality, but the oversensitivity of the touch pad is so f***ing infuriating that the headphones end up having less practical use than some dirt cheap $5 headphones. Itll pick up a tap when I brush past leaves and even start spazzing while Im doing NOTHING. It keeps turning on speak to chat, and even the speak to chat is so f***ing oversensitive that it picks up subway sounds and coughs as me talking. Do yourself a favor and get the XM3 instead. They got it right a long time ago. At the very least, thank goodness theres an option to turn off gestures altogether.

Noise cancelation is amazing. The battery life is amazing ! I use them daily for work. Sound quality is good but I do wish they went louder because I like my music LOUD. Design is beautiful, I’m very happy with them.

After a long product review using Youtube, I decided on this headset. I looked at the Apple Airpods Pro, and although they are great headsets I believe the Sony headset to be better. I have an iPhone and run a Mac mini, and they work very well with them. Im still able to use Siri with them. When you look at the price of the Airpod Pro it was a no-brainer. Even if the Airpod Pros were the same price as the Sonys I still would buy the Sony headset.

I travel often, and Sonys headphones are great for dealing with airports and airplanes. The XM5s did a near-perfect job silencing crying children on my latest flight, and the kids were inaudible once music was playing. I do wish it had its own Tile-like finder, and (not possible, but one can dream) positional audio for Apple Music and similar.

Very lovely as Sony makes fantastic products. Noise-canceling is amazing . Earcups are soft and easy on the ears. The headband cant really feel on and thats wearing it for over 8 hours when I first got them—worth every penny spent.

I have had these for a month and they cannot play a full song without shutting off. I have disabled the auto off function and still, at times they can play for a matter of seconds before shutting off. This is my second bad experience with Sony. I will never recommend these or any other Sony device to anyone. For $400 they should be able to play uninterrupted for hours. What a waste.

If you have a smaller head it won’t work since it’ll fall off and rub against ur head making a really annoying sound.

I like the feel, comfort, and sound coming from the XM5, but bluetooth can be spotty if you have multiple devices paired to this. I have my Mac, MacBook, iPhone, TV, and Windows PC all paired (not connected). Bluetooth works fine if I disable (or forget) 3 of the 5 devices, otherwise itll get interference.
