> 3 dayNot as intuitively easy to use as Bose. Couldn’t really discern much “noise canceling “ functionality

> 3 dayThe sound and noise cancelation is very good. I hate the volume control though, it is very finicky. I also wish the app would allow you to lock it to one device while it is connected to multiple devices. When I am listening to something on my tablet, if the sound pauses for even a microsecond it always switches over to my TV audio device. I dont want it to switch unless I tell it to. It is a major pain having to constantly reopen the app and switch it back. (hoping somebody at Sony reads this)

> 3 dayI bought these specifically for work to drown out all of the side conversations in my office. I have zero complaints and this was probably my best purchase of 2022. The noise canceling is great and the sound quality is clean. I like that these have adaptive features based on what Im doing or my surroundings, and I can talk to others without taking them off if. I read about seeing fingerprints on these in black so opted for the silver. But I gravitated towards the silver anyways because I tend to prefer neutral muted tones.

> 3 dayGreat headphones overall they were very light but im my honest opinion I like better the AirPods Max because they sound more loud and the spacial audio and I feel the the max are more crisp in sound than the xm5. very sand that I have to return it because I really was looking forward to keep it

Greater than one weekFirst off, Ill say that the audio quality is amazing and the noise canceling is the best Ive ever seen. With that said, theres a known bug regarding phone calls. When you talk to someone else using this headset, the other party will hear feedback when the volume is higher than about 2/3 of your max. If you have the volume lower, the other party cant hear feedback. This doesnt seem to be the case of your using this for a Teams or Zoom call though. For me, I bought this specifically for phone calls. Dont buy this unit if a good percentage of its use will be phone calls.

03-04-2025I have zero complaints about the audio quality, but the oversensitivity of the touch pad is so f***ing infuriating that the headphones end up having less practical use than some dirt cheap $5 headphones. Itll pick up a tap when I brush past leaves and even start spazzing while Im doing NOTHING. It keeps turning on speak to chat, and even the speak to chat is so f***ing oversensitive that it picks up subway sounds and coughs as me talking. Do yourself a favor and get the XM3 instead. They got it right a long time ago. At the very least, thank goodness theres an option to turn off gestures altogether.

> 3 dayThe sound quality is among the beat I’ve tried. there are 2 issues though, it is extremely uncomfortable on my head which is normal to large I would say and the LDAC bitrate mode selection is not remembered by the device so after each reconnection it is reset to the default mode (which is balanced mode: between speed and quality). regarding the fit, it press way to hard against the skull part and I can’t stand having it on my head for more than 15 minutes. it sucks, I really wanted it to work.
