The drywall anchors are cheap plastic ones that were obviously stored in a hot warehouse, because they cracked and fell apart. After buying metal 100 lb rated drywall anchors, its not going anywhere. The product itself is great and pretty heavy duty metal. My only concern is the lack of M6 cage nuts and bolts. I did not receive them, as advertised with the product. Its not a big deal, as they are cheap to purchase separately. Just make sure to buy your own screws/nuts/bolts and dont rely on the ones promised with the product.

I was pleasantly surprised by this rack. Frankly I expected something more flimsy based on a couple other reviews, but its actually nicely made and quite sturdy especially when you put in a few components. I have not mounted it on the wall just yet - but I expect that to go easily. Pros: - Sturdy - Powder coat finish - even. No sharp edges. Cons: - Only comes with (12) M6 screws/nuts which basically gives you 3 components you can mount in this rack. I would have at least put 20 or 24 because you are likely to fill it up completely and not a large cost over all (perhaps a few pennies?). Plan to get a few more screw/nuts if you have more than 3 items going in this rack. There are a few options on amazon (unfortunately most come in a 25 or 50 pack ... and are silver not black ... at least that I could find). I bought this for managing the nerve center on my new house still under construction ... so it will house my modem, router, a switch, NAS, power strip, patch panel and with a bit of room for a 1U NAS/Server down the road - tbd. Will update after the install but expect this to be a winner.

Great product for the money! Other racks are more expensive and this one gets the job done. It would just be a litter better if it were enclosed and had a bottom shelf.

I needed a small rack and it worked out very well.

Seems like a decent deal. Be aware, do not use the screw assembly the send! They do not stay in the square holes, they pop out the back, then if you w as nt yo ever remove the unit from the rack, the screa strips into the nut assembly then you cant get it out. I even tried vise grips to grab the nut from the backside, it was impossible to grab the nut, too tight of space. I tried everything. But eventually, the ears on my dbx compressor took too much stress and broke off. Huge loss for a nut that probably only cost a penny. Anyways, buy aftermarket assemblies before screwing in your units....

This is a VERY NICE network chassis for a small home network! Im glad to have purchased it. My only complaint is they do not offer more screws, washers and nut clips. There are only 12 sets in the pkg. Look for their 50 pack of screw sets sold separately. I didnt know this when I purchased this chassis.

Having just installed some of these in a closet, the 6U versions work great: the price is excellent, they are lightweight and easy to hang by your self, they include screws and cage nuts, they are deep enough to handle all but the deepest network gear, and they are sturdy enough to do the job. I also like that they have holes for the reinforcing bar in both the top and the bottom, so you can move the bar to the opposite side and then flush mount two 6U racks on top of each other. For the money, I havent found any that even come close.

Well made and easy to install. They include a paper template but...just hold it up to the wall and mark. It includes holes 16 OC, so perfect for 2x4 construction if you have flexibility in your placement to align with the studs. If not, there arent extra holes like most TV mounts which is disappointing. You can always drill through the back. Includes square bracket nuts and matching screws, but not for all 8U positions. I think 6 were included which is more than sufficient for my needs and you can always buy more. The bar going across the top blocks the midpoint of the top 1U. Not a big deal if youre putting a patch panel there. You can also move it to the bottom (dont flip the rack or the ground attach point will be on top).

NO SURPRISES. Except that fastener hardware count was insufficient for 6 items. I got enough for only three panels. Those fasteners are expensive, if bought additionally.
