Overall, this is a solid 6U rack, but there are some definite issues if you attach it to a wall. 1. The screws and wall anchors are a disaster waiting to happen. Theres no way that it will hold for a long period of time. You will need to use your own screws, preferably 2 wood screws and will need to drill directly into the stud. If you dont have studs around the area, then you will need to put some backing boards and will need to install into those. Not the prettiest if it is being installed outside of a closet, but the artwork should be left up to you. 2. There is only enough screws to install 3 units. Why? Why would I not be provided with the full 24 screws needed instead of just 12. Horrible. Decking an entire star because of this nonsense.

NO SURPRISES. Except that fastener hardware count was insufficient for 6 items. I got enough for only three panels. Those fasteners are expensive, if bought additionally.

Installed this at the top of our linen closet. Was able to go into the studs with four large screws and placed this on top. Ive added a power strip, 16 port switch, 24 keystone patch panel, and a shelf with a smaller poe switch and router. Does not appear to have any issues holding up the weight and the crossbar on the top of the unit helps the rigidity of the unit. Please note that the crossbar will also prevent you from installing things like a power strip or anything that needs clearance on top as there is a portion of the crossbar that comes down into that top 1U space. Overall, satisfied with my purchase. I didnt ground the unit as everything that Ive plugged into the power source is being grounded. Will update as needed.

I am sure this will support more weight not sure if you have room for it. 1. Heavy duty steel with folded edges 2. Not enough Rack screws to mount 6 1U devices.Only come with screws for 3 (12). So add in another 6 bucks for more screws. 3. The supplied drywall anchors are the plastic self driving type and I would not really trust them to support expensive equipment. Look for studs or attach a board to studs then this to the board.. 4. The top bar is not 100% necessary and can be moved to the bottom as the unit has no top or bottom, the mounting holes have slots in both directions. I had the rack full so removed the bar. Attached directly to concrete block for me this should hold a great deal more than 40lbs. Besides the poor mounting hardware and lack of additional screws this is a great product.

Does exactly what you would expect. Comes with enough cage nuts and screws for all spaces. The cross brace at the top was a little annoying and interfered with my PDU so I took it off, but theres more than enough lateral strength from all the equipment I put in it. Would buy again.

Excellent construction. It works well for patch panels, power, and maybe a CloudKey, but it won’t work for long equipment like an NVR or full server

The product is sturdy and easy to install but openings in the back could be bigger. trying to fit 37 cat6a cables to a 48 port patch panel took some dremel work to modify opening to accommodate for cable management. perhaps some punch through similar to what an electrical circuit breaker box has to easily provide for more access for additional cables? but overall great product for price but could easily see myself paying a little extra for added conveniences of install.

Not sure why, but was expecting some assembly when it arrived. I was pleasantly mistaken. Came fully assembled, and more specifically everything (except for removable crossbar bar) was solidly welded. Crossbrace does interfere with top slot for anything deeper than a few inches but it’s easily removed and in my opinion unnecessary if you have a 1u product properly secured in the top slot anyway. Crossbrace can be moved to lower side of case in four pre-existing holes. All six slots are numbered. My only complaint would it comes with 3 sets of screws/retainers for mounting your hardware into unit. Would be nice if they’d just go ahead and provide enough screws/retainers for all six slots rather than just three of them. Mark the MSRP up about $0.99 and they’d cover their cost of providing them. I’m OCD, so having all the visible screws/retainers matching would’ve been nice.

This rack overall is fine. Its not the sturdiest rack and you really need some good sturdy devices mounted but for the money its fine. I used it with some AC Infinity Vented Cantilever shelves and with those it was rigid enough where I wasnt worried about too much warping. Next time around though I will probably get something a little more solid.
