Overall, this is a solid 6U rack, but there are some definite issues if you attach it to a wall. 1. The screws and wall anchors are a disaster waiting to happen. Theres no way that it will hold for a long period of time. You will need to use your own screws, preferably 2 wood screws and will need to drill directly into the stud. If you dont have studs around the area, then you will need to put some backing boards and will need to install into those. Not the prettiest if it is being installed outside of a closet, but the artwork should be left up to you. 2. There is only enough screws to install 3 units. Why? Why would I not be provided with the full 24 screws needed instead of just 12. Horrible. Decking an entire star because of this nonsense.

Bought this for the new house as all our wiring goes to the basement. Was able to install this easily and added some shelving (1U 10 inches deep) for the other networking devices. Keeps things clean and easy to use. After installation and adding the shelves I removed the cross beam on the top as I needed the space and it didnt change the structure at all. Cable organization isnt great with this device but its in the corner in the basement and zip ties are your friend!

Great product for the money! Other racks are more expensive and this one gets the job done. It would just be a litter better if it were enclosed and had a bottom shelf.

The product is sturdy and easy to install but openings in the back could be bigger. trying to fit 37 cat6a cables to a 48 port patch panel took some dremel work to modify opening to accommodate for cable management. perhaps some punch through similar to what an electrical circuit breaker box has to easily provide for more access for additional cables? but overall great product for price but could easily see myself paying a little extra for added conveniences of install.

The unit was not square with the rails being wider than 19 inches. I had to unscrew the brace and bend unit back to square. Then I had to mive the brace back because it was in the way and wouldnt allow a 3 inch unit to be mounted correctly in the first slot. I had to drill new holes and temount the brace. Additionall the unit is heavy so make sure it gets mounted to studs in the wall and do not use the included anchors in wall material that is not reinforced.

Needed to replace a wall mounted amp and this worked perfect with the rack mounted amp that replaced it!

NO SURPRISES. Except that fastener hardware count was insufficient for 6 items. I got enough for only three panels. Those fasteners are expensive, if bought additionally.

    Greater than one week

So the material is pretty sturdy like most people have said but not sure it was mentioned anywhere it only comes with 12 screws for a 6u case so unless your mounting things that only require one screw per side you will come up 12 screws short so pick up some M6 cabinet hardware. Also there is a cross bar in the top of the shelf so the top 1u is best used for a patch panel of something super small.

Anchor this into studs or use heavy duty wall anchors. Either way, this is a very solid product. I’ve loaded it down wel past the manufacturer specs and it’s holds like a champ. I’ve done pull ups off this 6U rack and it does not even bend the slightest.
