Great for framing pictures. I have used it on over 40 picture frames for my art photography business (art & craft shows) and very happy with the quality and performance.

Very good wire! Soft coating, and flexible hold. Exactly what I wanted to hang frames and canvases.

Spool arrived broken / split - which will make it very difficult to use as this is a 500’ roll of wire.

Very easy to use for picture frames or other items to hang on walls- no sharp edge or cut fingers! Added support wires to several jersey cases mounted without drilling into basement poured walls. Worked well rated for weight above items hung provided an additional measure of safely and security. Very pleased would recommend to friends and family without hesitation!

great value, very soft coating very flexible and will not slip. will not unravel or untwist after hung. wont slip on the D rings, and will not stretch out longer after it has been hung, stays put. soft on the finger. high quality, I will purchase again, in many years after this is used up

I run a photography business with several studios. I have worked with the plain picture wire for over 40 years. Always sticking the wires in my fingers as I frame and hang art. This product has a very thin but pliable vinyl coating over the strong wire eliminating the frayed wires that cut you. Never going back to the old stuff.

the right thickness for most of my art work, which is on the heavy side. If I need more support I just run another set of d-rings and wire.

This is the absolute best wire for hanging art unless you have REALLY heavy pictures. The plastic coating keeps you and the buyer from cutting your fingers from those pesky little tiny wires twisted in those other kinds of hanging wires that you can never quite crimp all the way when you cut them. This spool even comes with very clear photographs as to how to bend this wire back on itself so that it wont come undone, for those of us artists who never quite mastered the surgeons knot necessary to secure traditional framers wire. I, however, was very disappointed in the packing job, as this spool comes with two holes along the edge so that you can twist the cut end back into them. My spool came broken on both sides because of the packing job...:( The wire isnt going to unravel like a spool of thread, as the wire is stiff, but thats why I only gave this product 4 stars instead of the 5 stars it deserves. Come on guys in the packing department.... get your act(s) together!

Much easier to work with than the braided galvanized wire I was using before. Ive hung several of my paintings since I got it and its worked perfectly.
