Purchased with the intent of mounting this light on a weapons system; this is an incredible flashlight for the price. Not sure how the lens and bulb will hold up to repeated firing, but for an everyday pocket flashlight, you cant beat it. Strong, tough, and water resistant.

This is my second sure fire flashlight, and its feature are very different from the first. It will take some getting used to. The two way power level is a great way to preserve battery life. I miss the belt clip, as this one can not be clipped onto ones belt. So you need to keep it in your hand or put it in your pocket(or pocketbook?). Just remember that you need lithium batteries for this flashlight. It is as well built as my other sure fire product, so I expect it to last a long time.

I currently own three of these flashlights - for my car, home, and mobile toolbox. Its a great product that puts out an amazing amount of light (in fact, the low setting is sufficient for many tasks). Its built like a tank, yet is lightweight to carry. As it uses primary lithium cells instead of alkaline, worries about leaking batteries are eliminated and shelf life is significantly enhanced.

Its a surefire, and you know what that means, whomever is looking into it whether youre mounting it on a gun or just using it around the house, theyre sure to have their retinas melted right out of their sockets. I also enjoy that this model has a softer light setting in case youre not looking to use 6 batteries in one night, and it really makes the batteries last, you know, until its time for retina melting.

Perhaps no other company in the flashlight industry has a track record and renowned named as Surefire. I was in need of a quality handheld and had been hearing only good things about Surefire for many years without having ever owned one. After much research and even considering models twice the price of this one, I went with the Surefire G2X Pro Dual Output LED Flashlight, Black because of so many positive reviews and the fact that it is definitely compatible with the Picatinny Flashlight Mount (also made by Surefire). I am 100% happy with my purchase. Side by side with my old double D-cell cop flashlight this is truly a marvel of technology. Being about 1/3 the length, 2/3 the diameter, the Surefire outperforms it in every way. The G2X Pro has 2 different output levels. The standard one is the low power, and to bump it up to 120 Lumens you simply tap the On button on the rear of the flashlight twice. 120 Lumens doesnt seem like a lot for these kinds of flashlights in this day and age, but having tested it on myself and others, it can certainly be blinding to another person at dark. Summary: Moderately-priced dual-output up to 120 Lumens of Surefire quality. Big bang, small package, low price. Though it may seem more powerful lights could be leaving this one in the dust, it actually holds its own as a very bright all-purpose flashlight that IS compatible with the Surefire Picatinny Flashlight Mount for rifles. 5 stars.

I now have three and at $50 each that may sound like a bit of money for flashlights. An LED Mag light will cost over $30 and many of those multi-bulb led flashlights will cost $20 and up. And this light is so much brighter than any of the former. In the low output level it still lights up a dark room and so far, almost 3 months since I purchased the first one, I have not had to change batteries. Im sure I will be buying a couple more of these as the few remaining cheapie LEDs die off.

This Surefire delivers as promised. Its locking tail cap works for both 15 and 320 lumens in addition to pressing the tail cap switch for momentary-on in high or low. The Surefire G2X Pro Dual Output LED Flashlight has a polymer body over an aluminum frame. This construction exists on 6 different Surefire lights I own. I have experienced NO issues in construction what so ever. Three of my 6, now 7 Surefires have seen hard use. This model in particular is a gem in both design and price. 15 lumens is perfect for making your way around a dark room and 320 lumens delivers a blinding beam of clarity. It also reaches goal post to goal post as I have just checked it at the local football field. This model is the best light for the money I have seen to date.

I didn’t use a flashlight much before getting this but now I use it all the time. The low setting is perfect for everyday use. When your eyes are adjusted for darkness it is plenty to fill the entire room with light, so much so I point it away from what I’m looking at to not blind myself. The high setting will light up stuff at 150 yards no problem. I’ve got this same light in the aluminum version too, but got this as a car light for winter. If you’re on the fence at all just get this light. You won’t regret it.

I bought this for my fiance, so here is his review about the flashlight: I work in law enforcement so a good flashlight is something you need especially if you work the night shift. This is a very powerful light. It lights up areas about 50-60 yards away no problem. It burns right through tinted windows. Small and compact but dont let the size fool you.

I use the light everyday at work and have dropped it from a moving truck many time. It has never failed and the batteries last forever on the low setting. Great for finding address on houses at night on high beam and using low for all the rest.
