Greater than one weekEveryone in my family has a SureFire. We got this one for my dad for Christmas and he loves it, never leaves home without it! The low level is great for seeing in your general area and the bright allows us to scan the edge of the yard and woods about 300 ft away - exactly what we needed. I use my bright 2-3 times per day and a set of batteries usually last me 4-7 months, longer for my husband. Not to mention this little flashlight could be used as a self defense tool if needed - very sturdy construction while feeling perfectly balanced in your hand! Ive had mine 5 years and its still going strong!

> 3 dayAfter owning the SureFire G2X for several years, it continues to provide rock solid dependable performance. Although the continuing evolution of LED technology now offers us higher lumens in a comparable sized package, the G2X is still one of my go-to lights. Lightweight, bright enough, and seemingly indestructible, this light is highly recommended!

> 3 dayThis flashlight is perfect and a great addition to my shotgun. It is extremely bright and easy to operate. I installed this flashlight onto my Mossberg 500 with a ELzetta mount and I love it. You can not beat this light for the quality at this price.

> 3 dayThis Surefire delivers as promised. Its locking tail cap works for both 15 and 320 lumens in addition to pressing the tail cap switch for momentary-on in high or low. The Surefire G2X Pro Dual Output LED Flashlight has a polymer body over an aluminum frame. This construction exists on 6 different Surefire lights I own. I have experienced NO issues in construction what so ever. Three of my 6, now 7 Surefires have seen hard use. This model in particular is a gem in both design and price. 15 lumens is perfect for making your way around a dark room and 320 lumens delivers a blinding beam of clarity. It also reaches goal post to goal post as I have just checked it at the local football field. This model is the best light for the money I have seen to date.

Greater than one weekSolid light that has never let me down. Finally bought another to replace a previous G2X series unit that I unfortunately lost somewhere in the Cascades.northwest of Winthrop last year. I debated about buying a more powerful SureFire but in the end I got a case of the cheapies when I realized that this one served me well for about 95% of what I needed it to do. The only serious knock I have with the G2X is with the chassis; despite its ample texture it can get somewhat slick in the wet, so a swath of grip tape is still a mandatory thing for me. My old unit took a beating and kept on running like a champ; I really expect this one to do the same and so far it has. It survived a drop to the garage concrete slab (about 3 1/2 feet) and aside from a slight scuff is no worse for the experience. A minor quibble is that this light does have a center hot spot to its beam that sometimes I wish could be dialed/focused outward, but something like that likely wont be as affordable at this level of built quality.

> 3 dayOnly high output not high low. I purchased same light this year with high low settings which I prefer over high only for longer battery life. Dont know why this is high only, still surefire so keeping it because package gets destroyed while opening. The package is gone so if youre buying dual out put check package before opening it.

> 3 dayLights are only 2 types, soft low and blinding bright, which is great. However, the clicking button is LOUD. Not a fan of that in a quiet house and a burglar finds out where Im at because he can hear me click before he gets blasted. Other than that, the light seems very durable. Ive not had it long enough, but the old metal Cree tactical lights Ive had for about 6-7 yrs are still working, still tough and has a quiet button, as well as a strobe, which this SureFire does not have sadly.

> 3 dayGreat light, works awesome and is super bright on high setting. Not sure about battery life yet. I have one for work and home. I like the option to use it twisting to turn on or use the button on end. Sturdy also. I look forward to many years of use.
