> 3 dayThis Surefire delivers as promised. Its locking tail cap works for both 15 and 320 lumens in addition to pressing the tail cap switch for momentary-on in high or low. The Surefire G2X Pro Dual Output LED Flashlight has a polymer body over an aluminum frame. This construction exists on 6 different Surefire lights I own. I have experienced NO issues in construction what so ever. Three of my 6, now 7 Surefires have seen hard use. This model in particular is a gem in both design and price. 15 lumens is perfect for making your way around a dark room and 320 lumens delivers a blinding beam of clarity. It also reaches goal post to goal post as I have just checked it at the local football field. This model is the best light for the money I have seen to date.

31-03-2025I bought this to go with an older, incandescent Surefire 6P tactical light and Im very happy with my purchase. The G2X Pro Dual Output light features 2 power levels, low & high. On the low setting its plenty bright for locating things in a dark house, garage or finding a dropped bolt under the hood of your car. But on the bright setting it will wash out even the Surefire 6P Xenon bulb. The 6Ps Xenon bulb is very bright and will wash out the brightest of Maglites beams by way of comparison. The G2X will light up things over 100 yards away quite nicely. Switching from low-to-high is easy. Push the tailcap button and you get the low power beam. Release and reactivate within 2 seconds and you get the bright high-power beam. If you push the button hard it will turn on the light in its current mode until you push the button again so you dont have to continuously push on the tailcap button. This isnt a cheap light and it shows in the construction. The body is a Nitrolon polymer thats not as cold to grab as aluminum and nicely contoured for a good grip. The head is machined aluminum with 6 flats to prevent it from rolling easily. The push button on the tailcap is rugged and sealed. The beam is pre-focused so unlike Maglights you cant switch from spot to flood style. But there is plenty of light output. Cons: Uses 2 CR123A lithium batteries which can be expensive. But you can buy a dozen for between $18-$20 via Amazon at the same time (recommended). Because of the high output capabilities, battery run times can be very short (read the descriptions). These are intended for short, periodic uses (i.e. police tactical flashlights, search & rescue, etc.) and the head/lens area can get too hot to touch if left on for extended periods. Mine is in basic black which is hard to find in the dark. For emergency kits Id suggest either the Yellow version or the Orange Fire-Rescue version as they are easier to see in low light.

> 3 dayThis flashlights beam shines a long distance. I love it for locating my dog after dark in the yard. It is also great for night time walks, low beam works for this.. My only issue is with the lithium batteries. They last a long time, but the fact that the batteries arent supposed to go on air plains, or in postal packages that must be sent my air, is a downside for me. I like taking my Surefire with me. As for the cost, they are a little costly, but well worth it.

Greater than one weekThis flashlight is perfect and a great addition to my shotgun. It is extremely bright and easy to operate. I installed this flashlight onto my Mossberg 500 with a ELzetta mount and I love it. You can not beat this light for the quality at this price.

> 3 dayThis is a good alternative to expensive weapon lights, good amount of light from it (320 lumens) and doesnt add much weight to the rifle. You can add a surefire click tail cap and remote cord if desired. It fits well in both a Magpul V-Block and a Viking Tactics mount.

02-04-2025This is one of the best lights LED lights Ive owned. Ive been waiting for awhile for surefire to step their LED game up most of the early gen led models were a little over priced for their performance. Ive owned plenty of surefires before but this is first led one Ive purchased. i will start by saying that i am a delivery driver for a very large company, and i was getting upset with how many g2 and 6p bulbs i went through. so i used alot of other brands LED flashlights, many put out a good amount of light but the color was to blue on the light spectrum and it made it really hard for me to read address numbers. This puts out a color much closer to around 4500k and is much easier on the eyes.the g2 series are very durable ive dropped mine plenty of times out of my truck and all of them still work even ran over the 6p with a brown truck. Most standard led, even on reflective address numbers, will get drowned out by the blue is light and blend in. one last thing is with the new led bulbs you can use rechargeable cr123a batteries because of the built in regulator which is great because i go through a set about every other day in the winter time. P.S. i reviewed this light after over a year of use

> 3 dayMounted to my AK. Nice light. Nice build. Great quality. Although more attractive looking, its not as bright and is heavier than the Streamlight on my shotgun of which was $30 less. No strobe feature. I do like it, but I think the like my Streamlight better.

> 3 dayThis is my second sure fire flashlight, and its feature are very different from the first. It will take some getting used to. The two way power level is a great way to preserve battery life. I miss the belt clip, as this one can not be clipped onto ones belt. So you need to keep it in your hand or put it in your pocket(or pocketbook?). Just remember that you need lithium batteries for this flashlight. It is as well built as my other sure fire product, so I expect it to last a long time.
