This flashlight is perfect and a great addition to my shotgun. It is extremely bright and easy to operate. I installed this flashlight onto my Mossberg 500 with a ELzetta mount and I love it. You can not beat this light for the quality at this price.

I love this light for a number of reasons The dual outputs are so well thought out. The low isnt too bright and the high projects well but doesnt blind the user either. I prefer surefires UI for changing between settings. Click once for low output. Release and click again within 2 seconds to go to high mode. Its a much more reliable way to get to the high output than on my lights from other manufacturers. If you need high mode quickly, I like knowing that it will come on with only one more click

I bought this as a backup to my 3 cell LED maglite, but has rapidly become my favorite for regular use. Its durable, and although its not as bright as some, its got a great throw, and its still super bright and will easily light up literally anything on high mode. I originally disliked the fact that low mode was first, and I had to double press the rear button to put it on high mode, but honestly its great now. If I need it to say, check an ID, its nice not to immediately blind myself, my partner, the person whos ID Im reading, and everyone in a 1 mile radius... If I need to do that, I have the ability to. When I eventually lose it, Im definitely going to buy another one. My only issue with it is that it doesnt come with a pocket clip. You can easily get one for it though, I use the Thyrm low profile carry clip.

Great flashlight with the two lumen settings. Very good gripping surface to keep a tight grip on the light. Location of the power button is on the butt of the flashlight, which is a great location and only requires one hand operation. The only issue I have is to get the higher lumen light you need to push the button twice. Tactically, I would prefer the brightest light to be initiated by the first push on the button rather than the second push.

Great light, works awesome and is super bright on high setting. Not sure about battery life yet. I have one for work and home. I like the option to use it twisting to turn on or use the button on end. Sturdy also. I look forward to many years of use.

Perhaps no other company in the flashlight industry has a track record and renowned named as Surefire. I was in need of a quality handheld and had been hearing only good things about Surefire for many years without having ever owned one. After much research and even considering models twice the price of this one, I went with the Surefire G2X Pro Dual Output LED Flashlight, Black because of so many positive reviews and the fact that it is definitely compatible with the Picatinny Flashlight Mount (also made by Surefire). I am 100% happy with my purchase. Side by side with my old double D-cell cop flashlight this is truly a marvel of technology. Being about 1/3 the length, 2/3 the diameter, the Surefire outperforms it in every way. The G2X Pro has 2 different output levels. The standard one is the low power, and to bump it up to 120 Lumens you simply tap the On button on the rear of the flashlight twice. 120 Lumens doesnt seem like a lot for these kinds of flashlights in this day and age, but having tested it on myself and others, it can certainly be blinding to another person at dark. Summary: Moderately-priced dual-output up to 120 Lumens of Surefire quality. Big bang, small package, low price. Though it may seem more powerful lights could be leaving this one in the dust, it actually holds its own as a very bright all-purpose flashlight that IS compatible with the Surefire Picatinny Flashlight Mount for rifles. 5 stars.

Everyone in my family has a SureFire. We got this one for my dad for Christmas and he loves it, never leaves home without it! The low level is great for seeing in your general area and the bright allows us to scan the edge of the yard and woods about 300 ft away - exactly what we needed. I use my bright 2-3 times per day and a set of batteries usually last me 4-7 months, longer for my husband. Not to mention this little flashlight could be used as a self defense tool if needed - very sturdy construction while feeling perfectly balanced in your hand! Ive had mine 5 years and its still going strong!

Awesome flashlight. Wish I had read more that it only uses ShurFire batteries. Fortunately they are not expensive, unfortunately they are not convenient.

I currently own three of these flashlights - for my car, home, and mobile toolbox. Its a great product that puts out an amazing amount of light (in fact, the low setting is sufficient for many tasks). Its built like a tank, yet is lightweight to carry. As it uses primary lithium cells instead of alkaline, worries about leaking batteries are eliminated and shelf life is significantly enhanced.

I now have three and at $50 each that may sound like a bit of money for flashlights. An LED Mag light will cost over $30 and many of those multi-bulb led flashlights will cost $20 and up. And this light is so much brighter than any of the former. In the low output level it still lights up a dark room and so far, almost 3 months since I purchased the first one, I have not had to change batteries. Im sure I will be buying a couple more of these as the few remaining cheapie LEDs die off.
