I bought XL size I thought I was buying something more like a pumice stone (lightweight) but I got these incredibly heavy, humongous cement things that weigh almost 3 pounds each. Add another 3 pounds for a macaw and pivot forces and it is bending the metal in my large aviaries. The teal color is also staining my hands and birds feet. I would not recommend.

Ordered the medium sized perch for my Grey, it was too small. So, ordered the large perch. It is well made & easy to attach to the bird cage.

This perch can be dangerous. It’s extremely heavy so it’s impossible to find a place to put it. I have several heavy duty giant cages and 2 outdoor aviaries. None of these could handle the weight of these perches for a long time. Not to mention if somehow it breaks or gets lose it can definitely hurt your bird. Very disappointed.

I read that birds should have different diameter perches to exercise their feet. I usually use the easy but thinner perches. But since reading that I bought this one. He (a Canary) was reluctant for 3 weeks to try it but since then, loves to hop from one to another to his swing and back. He even will perch on this for awhile and scrape his beak on it rather than use the Cuttle Bone. When it gets dirty, I just pop it into the dishwasher!

This perch keeps my cockatiels nails nice and short! I got the yellow one (I forgot which size that one is) and it’s a great size for them! Saves money on continuous vet visits for nail trimmings since I can’t do it myself! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This perch is excellent for my Cockatiel he has a very good grip on them and he stands on these more than the wooden ones. I will always buy this for my bird.

The one in the picture looks nicer than the one I actually received. The part where the bird stands is not as smooth as I was thinking it was going to be but I think itll still work okay.
