As others have said the small is very, very small. If my 2 budgies wanted to perch right next to each other they would barely fit. But they seem to like it. It was sent by itself in a huge box, which was kind of weird.

Travel cage needed short perch to nutriberry bowl, the rounded blunt end made it safer for parakeet to move around in temporarily confined space on a bumpy car trip. Afterwards serves as additional perch in flight cage, preserving inside cage space for birds exercise flying on days when he cant be let out. Good molded grip, sturdy.

Ordered the medium sized perch for my Grey, it was too small. So, ordered the large perch. It is well made & easy to attach to the bird cage.

Really feels more like painted concrete, and its heavier than actual pumice. I dont see it being abrasive enough to trim nails as the coating on it dulls the surface.
