Description claims its good on hardwood floors. This is NOT TRUE. No matter which of the three powers you use, it throws the sand behind the vacuum rather than actually picking it up. If you need a vacuum for hardwood floors to pick up sand from being outdoors, dont buy this unless you have the patience to go back and fourth multiple times over the area you cleaned. The sand gets blown behind the cleaning head, and it takes multiple passes to pick it up. It wastes my time.

When I first got this I thought of it as a glorified dust buster, but Ive come to like it more than I originally thought. The Tineco is very thoughtfully designed. The construction seems very robust and parts fit together with spring latches. Its relatively light weight and Ive had no problem with battery life. It replaces a heavy Panasonic cannister which never actually broke, though replaceable filters are no longer available, but Im getting older and lifting the old vacuum and dragging it around my apartment got to be a bit of a drag.. One of the features that I think is great are the LED on the roller-brush head. They light up dust that my old Panasonic canisters LEDs never noticed. The user manuals are helpful, since not all of the features of the device are intuitive. I suggest looking at YouTube for some live instruction. Opportunities for improvement: 1. The primary filter needs to be washed after every use. Tneco provides an elaborate attachment that allow me to use the vacuum to suck the dust out of the primary filer, but its more trouble than its worth. 2. The battery/attachment caddy. which doesnt hold all of the attachments that come with the machine and will be a pain to attach to a wall. For now, I have it leaning against a corner of my bedroom wall. The old attachment caddy looks like it might have been more useful. 3. The roller brush doesnt pick up larger objects like bits of paper or plastic.

I wasnt thinking of a cordless stick vacuum as a whole house or deep carpet vacuum. I cant speak to how well this model would work for that purpose. What I use it for is frequent, brief cleaning of a stone/concrete tile floor in multiple rooms. Ive also found it to be better than expected for vacuuming small stand-alone rugs, tops of desks and dressers that tend to accumulate dust, and cleaning my car.... and the garage, and... well, the list grows. I thought see-through was a gimmick, but its useful because I occasionally get a bit optimistic and vacuum something up that gets stuck in the dust cup (so far, mostly chunks of styrofoam). Being able to see in there was a great help for getting stuff loose. Some have complained about lack of suction. Maybe this is a deep carpet problem. I have no problems with the suction on our berber-type carpeted stairs, etc. In general use, I often up the suction to medium (this is a three level model), but hardly ever use high. Low suction is more useful than I expected. Most of the dust and dog hair stuff goes in just fine at low. Low suction also has the unexpected advantage of working well on loose rugs (easy to keep the rug in place) and cluttered areas with loose items you dont really want to suck up: leaves those alone and gets the dust and light crud. There is definitely some wrist and arm fatigue involved in using it as a wand with crevice tool or similar on the end and doing a lot of maneuvering. It might be impossible to make the unit lighter and keep the battery capacity and general durability at the level they are (both good). But if there is one thing Id change, it would be to make it weigh less.

When I first used the vac I was impressed but now I am not happy with this vacuum. It doesn’t have the suction that I would like. I picks up dust prefectly but anything with weight such as peanuts, little pebbles, little pieces cardboard etc. have to keep going over the the items several times to pick up and it sometimes it spit out the items you just picked up from the floor brush. The on /off switch is placed to close to handle snd I’m always hitting it by mistake so then the vac shuts off. That’s a real annoying problem when you are vacuuming. I have wool rugs that shed when vacuuming and the the debris gets stuck around the bagless canister and I have to open up, dump out the debris frequently even though the canister isn’t filled up. So what I’m saying I would not recommend this vac and I thought I did my research when buying thoroughly but it doesn’t meet my standards of quality. Update: July 2022 I have had this vac since March 2022 snd would like to say I didn’t realize there was a button that increases the suction power which has improved the working performance of this product. Even on high it may not pick up everything but it’s better than the low or medium speeds but the handle gets warm from the battery working at high speed.

I also have a Tineco Pure One S 12 and a Dyson stick. They cost $450 and $700 respectively. The Tineco A 11 Tango does all the important things equally well at $219, a fraction of the cost.

A great addition to the household for those tasks not requiring a bulky, cumbersome, heavy, plug-in full-size vacuum cleaner. Chose this brand after much research, which confirmed good performance and great value. Purchased this specific model due to our desire for a motorized attachment specifically designed for bare floors and found it to be very good at its intended purpose. Overall, well designed, and effective dust and debris pick-up as well as reasonably leak-free construction. Decent battery longevity, but will likely buy a spare battery to allow hot swap. The provided wall-mounted stand has a built-in automatic charger for the unit as well as a second charger for the spare battery...a thoughtful bonus.

I LOVE this vacuum so much. We have carpet and hard wood and it’s does so amazing on both. We have a dog and it really gets every nook and cranny when it comes to pet hair. I feel like this vacuum makes me want to vacuum 4x a week and makes the job seem so less painful and easy. My ONE problem is that because I have a dog, the hair is super dense and the tank on it fills up quick, and when it does, the hair gets stuck in the tank and doesn’t just fall out when you open the hatch. So I have to take out the filter to pull it out, which gets all the pet hair/dirt all over my hands. That’s one way I wish it was like other vacuums where you could push the dirt out from outside the tank. But other than that, the battery life lasts so long, the 3 levels of suction are amazing for those problematic areas, and it really gets into any spot possible, especially with all the attachments.

I bought this to replace an older Dyson. It’s extremely light. When I’m vacuuming I feel I don’t get floors as clean because when pulling back the floor attachment lifts up some. That is my main con on it. Coming with all the attachments are nice and it hangs neatly on wall. I do have cats and it will not pick up the litter if it’s on a hard floor close to a rug. Where my Dyson would. Again I feel this is because it’s so light it doesn’t make good contact with floor. For the price I did decide to keep it.

Not for someone that vacuums everyday or multiple times a week. This is my second one of these vacuums in a 3 year time frame. I really thought I loved it…. The first one, I had issues with the connecting areas of the piece wearing out, and the vacuum would randomly lose its suction power. thought it may have been me and the way handled it using it everyday. The second one I was very careful with my use and cleaned/replaced filters when needed and regularly cleaned it as well. Now a part of the bottom of the vacuum (felt type piece that slightly lifts vacuum up to be able to suction the larger area) has been worn down and make it useless for tile/hard wood/vinyl floors (It’s fine on carpets). It doesn’t pick up anything bigger than dust, it just pushes it along until I physically lift up the vacuum and put it on top of it. It makes a scratching sound on the floor (and shows scratches on the plastic of the vacuum) I do not want to take a closer look at my floors. I no longer can use this 2nd vacuum.

I was a bit confused with the Amazon reviews because there were inconsistent descriptions of the product: one description implied that there were two batteries, and an extensive accessory pack with the A11 Hero. In fact, there was only one battery and fewer accessories that was described in some descriptions. This confusion, does not, however, detract from the performance of this amazing vacuum. Here are my observations. PROS o Very quiet motor. My cats arent sent in a panic sprint when I turn on the vacuum. o Excellent suction, even on the lowest setting. o Accessories are very good. The filter cleaning attachment is genius! o The multi-filtration system is excellent - all of the filtered dust is effectively captured in the hardware. o The large floor attachment with brush works extremely well on my hardwood floor. Further, the design is excellent as the roller can be removed from the housing for cleaning. The attachment has LED lights which are perfectly positioned to spot dust on the floor. Excellent. o The smaller attachment, also with a powered roller, is super efficient in removing cat hairs from duvet covers and furniture - best that I have found! o The cleaning tool, with blade to cut hair wrapped around the roller is very useful. o The weight and balance of the vacuum is very good. It isnt tiring to hold for periods of time. CONS: o The battery does not last very long on the high setting. This wouldnt be an issue if there were two batteries. o Minor issue: there are some small crevices in the design which are difficult to access to clean. Youll need to purchase a small brush to clean. In summary I would definitely recommend this vacuum. It isnt inexpensive, yet its performance is comparable to Dyson which is much more expensive. Also, in my opinion, the Tineco ergonomics are better than the Dyson: better balance and lighter. To be sure, the Dyson may have a bit more performance, at a much higher price point. I wish there were two batteries, but I dont consider this an serious issue. My overall impression is that this is a well thought out, superbly designed and effective vacuum. Excellent value for its price tag. 3/16/2021 Update. The on button trigger lock broke today. I called Tineco support and they said a replacement (main motor housing) would be sent to me because the vacumn was under warranty. Support said they would be sending me an email requestinh an image of the broken component and the serial number. I received the email in a few minutes, and replied with the image attached and the serial number. An hour later, Tineco support emailed me to let me know that the replacement part was being prepared to ship to me. Amazing customer service! Great service, great product, great company.
