I have had trouble with this $200. plastic piece of overseas junk from the get go. I bought it on a big sale but the final tab, of coarse was $200. with all the taxes and fees [ You can usually tell if its foreign by the way they write in English. I have no problem with overseas items, if the are well made.] Firstly, the instructions are not specific. Im guessing that they were written by someone with English as a second language. It took me time to figure them out. Now that it is up and running the main sweeper brush will pick stuff up, like pieces of tortilla chips but will spit them out shortly unless, as I discovered, you turn it upside down and burp the garbage into the collection bin. The plastic is extremely breakable. If you own one I would suggest taking it off the charger when charged. Leaving it on wears out cheaply made batteries and you will need to buy TINECOS overpriced replacement. The more expensive models come with two batteries. I wonder why? I was replacing a DUSTBUSTER which, after over 15 years, died, may it rest in peace, which had suction like a chow hound,. I may end up getting one again. I have a , god knows how old, upright standard size, corded with a bag, Eureka, which puts them all to shame even with a wounded plastic bumper. The TINECO is a high maintenance item. EDIT 12/19/21 I suppose that I expected it to work like my EUREKA workhorse bagged vacuum. This TINECO takes a bit more maintenance. You need to empty the dustbin when about 1/4 full although the instructions say to do it every time that it is used. You also need to take off the brush head, open the compartment up gently ( I could not get it off the first time and in my frustration I tried to yank it off causing the little lock on the latch to break off. Now I just use a piece of packing tape to keep it on.) Take out the roller and using that white tool, which I misplaced,clean all the hair or rug fibers and dirt off. I have used different implements but my fingers work best. This vacuum cleaner works very well when clean. It picks up large and small pieces of the tortilla chips I always have when I eat dinner in front of my TV in the bedroom which is what I got it for. It functions well on hard floor and all around my home. Its light and I love the headlight. My only complaint is the short time that it will work after a full charge. People who need replacement batteries frequently might take some advice from me. When charging I try to remove it as soon as the lights stop blinking. I also take the cord out of the electric socket on the wall. Im not certain but I think the last step will help with battery longevity. This is my second Tineco cordless stick vacuum. I had some issues with the first, but the customer service department is very good and we fixed the issue with a few e-mails. Well, I wore out the first model I had in a little over a year. Hang on, I use it once, sometimes twice a day - I have 2 Old English Sheepdog and yes, they shed. It makes noise but totally quit picking / sucking anything up. I have had 4 Dysons and they also wore out in about 18 months, but at twice the price of the Tineco. So, I decided to buy another Tineco. Well, heres my issue and or disappointment. The Tineco A11 looks exactly like the first one I bought. All aspects except that the batteries from my old one (I bought an extra for more time with the old one) do not work on the new A11. Now I have to buy another battery. Thats it. Tineco really does put out a good product, I had hoped the old batteries that look basically the same would have worked with the new A11 that I bought. Nothing serious, I just felt they should have worked on both models, modern day marketing! The blue battery in the pic is the new one for the A11.

As an engineer I prefer German and American designs and products. This is the first time I have purchased a Chinese product that I would highly recommend. After researching a vacuum that would meet my needs, I came across the Tineco brand which has earned recommendations from Consumer Reports and Consumer Electronics Show (CES) for one of the best in class products. I have used this product for over a month now and can see that it lives up to its reputation. This is not some cheap Dyson knock-off (Ive owned 3 so far). In fact it has a small feature with big results - led lights on the vacuum head. These leds highlight my German Shepherds loose hair on dark hard flooring easily. Something that I miss easily with my corded Dyson. The Tineco has 3 vacuum power settings with the lowest setting as default. I have only used the highest setting for larger objects (pea gravel my dog tracks in) and on my area rugs. In this setting, it rivals my corded Dyson in cleaning. The variable vacuum power settings extend the battery life and the charger provides quick charging (with visual indicators for charging status). The Tineco comes with several attachments with some of them powered. The powered attachments are surprisingly articulated and maneuver well around and under objects. This dirt collection bin pops open easily for cleaning and the filter has a good chromed surface that sheds dirt with no problem. Filter pops out with a quick twist of the wrist to assist with dirt disposal- especially useful for the aforementioned long dog hair. As it is extremely light weight, I can use it on stairs easily or for cleaning cobwebs from my vaulted ceiling using one hand. I find myself only using the Dyson once a week when cleaning the entire house as it has a larger dirt collection bin. I would highly recommend this product.

Tenico vac review. Long story short. This is a great vac. Short story long. Let me count the ways. First, the quality of build is excellent and I mean excellent! With a very solid weight and ballanced design the feel and function of this cordless vac from Tineco fulfills everthing you could want in a top of the line Dyson killer. One could even talk about machine beauty with the fine design symmetry that meets the eye at first glance. A work of art perhaps in the realm of electro-machanical conception. See my pictures as these images convey this emotional impluse. But liking what you see does not a perfect purchase make. Power via suction and battery strength is a main attribute of a good cordress vac. And with the push of the max button one could pull the carpet off a wall to wall perimeter nailer with this machine. Add to that the main LED lit power head and you will see a perfect ballanced example of form following function and visa versa. Tineco also bundles 2 high powered lithium ion batteries along with several accessories all housed in a convenient wall caddy. Also note the vac automatically charges while hanging on the wall. No need to plug and un-plug an AC adapter wire. Moreover, the caddy has the ability to auto-charge both batteries at the same time. Like I said the design of this cordless vac package is simply superlative from start to finish. As for actually using the vac. I love it! Whats not to love, if love can be applied to a vacuum cleaner. In my opinion this machine could take the place of a corded vac in most situations. Simply press a release trigger to empty the debris canister. No fuss no muss. This unit picks up everything with no problems including the infamous cat litter. Also of note is the inclusion on a constant-on trigger. One can just sqeeze the auto-on power trigger and let go to stop or engage the unit power. Or one could trigger lock-on switch for convenient, constant power. There is real Hepa filtration as well. Tineco even includes a special Hepa filter cleaning attachedment to easily prolong the use of the Hepa filter. There are so many cool features to this cordless vac system. Im sure I missed one or two. But you get the idea. For under $300.00 with Prime Shipping you can not go wrong in buying this Tenico cordless vac system, where you are buying a whole ballanced cordless system, not just a great cordless vacuum cleaner.
