> 3 dayThe 2 smart plugs cam in a very nice and neat cardboard box. I haven’t tried the plugs yet, but I was taking them out of the box, in order to use the first one and noticed that the plastic adhesive that goes over the plugs to keep the pugs clean was dirty. As I was pulling it out, I happened to look at the plastic adhesive and it looked like the person adding there plastic adhesive films to the plugs, must have been stuck to their dirty workbench and then stuck to the plug. All that I would like to say about that is, it would be best to have a clean workplace for that worker, so the adhesive doesn’t look bad. I haven’t unpacked or used the plug yet, so I can’t speak to how good or not the plug is. I will update, once I have pulled the plug out and start working with it.

> 3 dayI was looking to replace some cheapy analog dial timers that eventually will wear out/lose time. Im not controlling anything heavy duty right now. I have no Alexa or similar device (nor do I want one) so I downloaded the Topgreener app to my cell. It was easy to install & works flawlessly so far. The units were easy to activate & program. One unit controls an LED window candle with negligible power draw. Another controls an old-style electric blanket (on-off, temp control with no auto-off) so things are toasty come bedtime. A third controls a manual slow cooker so if the cooking time is shorter than the time Im away, I can either turn the unit off or start it later. They seem to have the ability to ride out at least a short-term power outage. I shut the circuit off that had the night light in order to install an AFCI in the lead receptacle position. After about 15 minutes I turned the power back on & later that evening the light came on as programmed & has functioned correctly ever since. A nice feature is the Statistics where you can check the receptacle voltage, current draw, & kWh consumption. Im pretty impressed with the units & the app. Ive purchased two sets & will not hesitate to purchase more should the need arise.

Greater than one weekArrived quickly. Downloaded iPhone App, discovered plug and came on-line quickly. Alexa service could immediately control. The iPhone app works well as a remote control, too. Response time is very fast. Easy to move and re-configure, change the name, etc. I ordered as a stop gap to run a sump-pump with a faulty switch - which is why I got the heavy duty plug - and it worked exactly as I had hoped.

03-04-2025While easy to set up, install, and providing great data with excellent remote control; I cannot recommend a product that advertises 1800 watts, 15 amps, and gets to 200F at 1,300 watts. Fire hazard if you have a sustained or high load. For less than 1,000 watts, its probably fine.

> 3 dayThese devices are very convenient for short term checking of energy usage. I ran into the same issues as everyone else with the devices randomly rebooting into an OFF state, so do not depend on these unattended.

Greater than one weekPurchased looking for monitoring plug that would still work with Tuya-convert. While only 10A, they do still work with Tasmota!

> 3 dayThese switches will only work on Wifi on the 2.4 ghz band of your router. Thats ONLY IF your phone is connected to the same band. My Actiontec 3000a says it has both a 2.4 ghz radio and a 5 ghz one BUT when my phone (pixel 3XL) logs on to the 2.4 Actiontec lets it go right back up to 5 gig. No connection, no way. No help from the app, though lord knows I tried every step a thousand times. Also, the internet was no help. But I pored over the settings and found a way to turn off the 5 GHz, and wala, problem solved.

> 3 dayI picked this up because it could handle the 1500 wattage of my bathroom space heater. We set the heater to automatically turn on with the alarm clock. The best part is I was able to use the app so the heater will always turn off after 30 minutes. If its turned on manually or via the app, itll auto shut off after 30 minutes.

> 3 dayGot them working with my Android phone in less than five minutes. For each device you get to see milliamps, Power in watts, voltage and total kWh. By default the devices are switched off when the power is connected so a power outage will leave all of the devices off. Their technical support showed me how to set up an automation in the app so that if the device is switched off, the app turns it on. One other con: If you click on a device and select statistics, you only see the current month.

Greater than one weekAmazon had these plugs on sale so I had to buy myself another pack. I used them as light switches for my rooms, i use them to turn on my electronics right as i get home from work. They tell me how much money Im saving on electricity by being able to monitor my usage. I just absolutely love these plugs. I got my friends and family using them as well. Knowledge is power!
