> 3 dayI have a dehumidifier in my basement and I was searching for a plug that I could monitor remotely to see if it was running or not. I didnt need the ability to remotely switch on or off (which this does, as does hundreds of other plugs), but specifically needed something to tell me if power was running to the unit (meaning it was on and doing its job). Out of the box, this unit worked perfectly and was super easy to install/download the app. Its been flawless for months now and I finally figured out what was turning off my dehumidifier... it was set to a certain percentage, and when reached, it would shut off. But the problem was that it never turned back on when humidity rose. With this smart plug, I was first able to recognize that no power was running through it, and then was able to turn it on (which I never thought I would use!). Worked perfectly. Hoping this helps someone who has a similar use case as its pretty narrow since it doesnt really use all the features of a normal smart plug.

> 3 dayI love these, I can View energy usage, turn appliances on and off, set schedules and timers.. all from my phone. I can now control appliances at my house like coffee pot, electric blanket, patio and light stringers in a way I couldn’t before. Can now set my coffee pot the night before, and set to turn off my sons entertainment center in the middle of the night every night, he often falls asleep with it on. Definitely makes my home more efficient. Definitely recommend.

> 3 dayThese are off by default when they are powered up so dont use this on fridge/freezers because if there is even a short power outage these will stay off and your food will get spoiled if you dont notice. They work well otherwise and allowed me to determine the actual power usage of appliances and turn them on and off remotely.

> 3 dayI love this plug. Only two minor things and a suggestion. It is a bit of a pain to setup due to being only 2.4 ghz and having that smart band switching I really like the power monitoring, and something I just want to monitor power, so I would like to set the power on state. Also with power monitoring I would like to see a grouping alart for useage. But honestly, great little plug, easy to use, full of features, and a great price!

> 3 dayI got these primarily because they were listed as being able to measure power consumption. This feature is getting harder and harder to find in smart plugs and many reviews for other products that are supposed to measure power usage report that the feature has been removed in newer models. I can verify that the power monitoring does work on these. I like to know how much power is being used (aka how much an appliance is costing me to run) and it also helped my identify a freezer that was going out. I noticed a big spike in the power utilization on the freezer and that the temps werent as low as normal. After ensuring that the thermostat wasnt covered in ice, the door was still sealing, etc, its my guess that the compressor was on its way out. Very happy to have caught it early rather than when I opened the door and had a freezer full of spoiled food.

Greater than one weekPerfect!! Item is just as described. Easy to setup and working like a charm! Downloaded the app, switched my Wi-Fi to 2.4ghz, all devices paired successfully and are fully functional in the app. I can now control what I want from wherever I want - AWESOME!!

> 3 daySetup can be tricky on these, often requiring the second or third try on the app before the device successfully pairs. Once they are paired, they work rock solid and Ive yet to have any issues requiring resetting these devices unlike other brands of Smart Plugs Ive bought in the past. Being able to monitor energy usage is very useful, as I like to monitor how much power Im using with my space heater and certain other appliances in my apartment, and this device has been fairly accurate at providing those readings. It integrated with Alexa with no problems.

Greater than one weekThis TopGreener smart outlet plug helps me remotely power my troublesome furnace OFF and ON from anywhere. My ten year old Bryant high-efficiency furnace has an intermittent problem. When the thermostat calls for heat, the furnace does a startup cycle of running a purge blower, then igniting the burner. The burner doesnt always ignite and the furnace shuts down. To make it try again, the power switch must be turned OFF, then ON. Once in awhile, this has to be done twice. We have had a service tech out three times, but the furnace always behaves when hes here. Last winter, we were overseas, visiting family. I checked our smart thermostat and saw it calling for heat, but the house was dropping below 60 degrees. Several times, our daughter had to go to our house and turn the switch OFF, then ON to reset the furnace. I needed to find a way to do this from anywhere. Smart switches that I found seemed to be intended to control lights and/or didnt have the capacity to run a gas furnace. I needed to find a smart device with a 15 amp capacity. I chose the TopGreener smart outlet rated to operate appliances up to 15 amps. I also wanted to be able to bypass the smart device, just in case there were any problems. The photos show what was done. The smart outlet plugs into a single receptacle that is always powered. The power cord from the smart outlet is connected to the three-way switch. The Common terminal of the three-way switch is connected to the bottom switch to power the furnace. The remaining three-way switch screw connects to the source power. Thus the three-way switch will power the furnace from the smart outlet or constant power. The TopGreener Android app works very well. The only issue I had was trying to initially pair the smart outlet. The paper instruction sheet packed with the smart plug is correct and worked. After set-up, it was easy to rename the smart outlet. It works well with Alexa, but the instructions were a little confusing to me. But I confuse easily. The ultimate test was when I contacted a friend across the ocean in Guam, and asked him to install the app and try to power my furnace ON and OFF. It worked!

Greater than one weekOverall a good item, but can be improved to be great! Im monitoring a small grid-tie inverter and every few days the plug just turns off (not because of a power outage, which is another issue). This causes the inverter to shut off and electricity to stop being produced. Also would be great to see the hourly or even minutely chart and a feature to reset total consumption.

> 3 dayIt works as described. I randomly turn lights on and off while on vacation. I also monitor energy usage of the two wall air-conditioners i have. I wish it would let me monitor i finer time than hours. But it does what i want.
