I bought these to see how much energy my fridge and another appliance was using. These plugs worked good. Now I am currently just using them as a scheduler for my indoor lights. Would by again.

Bought these for all our Christmas lights. So nice not to chase around plugging and unplugging all those extension cords. Liked them so much, we bought another set to use around the house. Nice to walk in a dark room and just speak, and the lights come on. Or, go to bed and just speak the lights to go off. We travel a lot, so I expect the schedule feature to be a real boon. PS these are rated to handle up to 10 amps. The feature to see the electrical demand and usage allows you to know how much you have added, and avoid an overload.

They work well! I was hoping the app allowed you to see all data over time, so as to look for power spikes, but the data collection appears limited to total kilowatts. Also, there doesnt appear to be a way to reset data collected, like if you want to start monitoring a different device.

I had a recent power bill that was up 50% from the month before and I had not even used the heat or A/C for 30 days so it had to be something in the house. Bought this 2 pack, and while the installation took a bit (has to be 2.4.ghz band on your wi-fi - including the device used to install) they are working as described. It would be nice if the app would allow you to add the local rate for $ charged for power so it could give you a reasonably accurate amount that you are using in a money factor. On a side note, I would not consider this to be an essential item, but it was delivered in 48 hours per PRIME. Nothing that is being sold by Amazon is arriving in less than a week - even when my vehicle was out of commission waiting for car parts.

Amazon had these plugs on sale so I had to buy myself another pack. I used them as light switches for my rooms, i use them to turn on my electronics right as i get home from work. They tell me how much money Im saving on electricity by being able to monitor my usage. I just absolutely love these plugs. I got my friends and family using them as well. Knowledge is power!

These were so handy for easily turning off and all my Christmas lights! No more crawling beneath the tree to plug and unplug, or going out in cold weather to turn off outside lights. Just a swish of my phone and I was able to turn any of the plugs off or on in seconds. looking forward to finding more uses for them throughout the year.

I love these, I can View energy usage, turn appliances on and off, set schedules and timers.. all from my phone. I can now control appliances at my house like coffee pot, electric blanket, patio and light stringers in a way I couldn’t before. Can now set my coffee pot the night before, and set to turn off my sons entertainment center in the middle of the night every night, he often falls asleep with it on. Definitely makes my home more efficient. Definitely recommend.

I bought a few of these and found they all got the job done at a basic level. The included software looks like the differentiating feature. I particularly liked that the TG model (bottom of the three shown) provides historical stats on usage, something that isnt featured on all such gadgets (Im looking at you Kasa Smart Home). On the other hand, this was about 2x the price of the no-name alternatives.

There is no way to export the energy usage data from the app. This would be fine if the outlet group option could let you see the energy usage for all of them at once, but you can only see the energy usage chart of a single outlet at a time, as far as I can tell. Also, you cant really drill down into the data at all. You only really have 2 views of the data: current, and by day/month. You cant even select custom time ranges from what I can see. This is all really too bad, since the rest of the app is designed really well, specifically the automations.

Set up: could not for the life of me get these set up with an Android device. Tried my phone and tablet, but while I could get them on the network with both, they just wouldnt detect beyond that. I had to borrow my daughters iPhone to get them into our account. That worked like a champ. Once paired, the Android devices work fine. Usage: Seems flawless. Easily paired with Alexa, can turn the plugs on and off with the app, or by calling out for Alexa to do it. power usage, what I bought this for primarily, is pretty cool Keeps track over time in a handy graph. Exactly what I needed.
