This was great! Best part about this was how much was included: lots of rubber bands, many pairs of gloves, good variety of colors and a drop cloth. The only thing it didn’t include was the fabric to dye. We had so much fun we reverse dyed 2 shirts, 1 sweatshirt, dyed 3 more shirts and 3 pillow cases and a face mask. Still have enough supplies to do several more. Very easy to use. Even more tie dye techniques online.

Wow, this set made tie dye as simple and fun as possible - but also produced results that exceeded our expectations! We were all surprised and impressed by the designs that came out. This set comes with 18 squeeze bottles of colored dye powder. Each bottle is marked with a fill-to line, and you just have to add water and shake to turn the powder to dye. The bottles have a narrow nozzle that makes applying the dye easy to control. The colors are a really nice mix and are all super vibrant. Everything you need for the actual tie dye process is included - rubber bands to hold your shirts in place, and table cloths/covers to prevent the dye from getting onto surfaces. Theres a cool little instruction pamphlet with clear instructions on how to achieve different popular tie dye designs (simple swirl, etc.) that helped us get nice results.

This is a really great product. Color is bold and vibrant Tips: - Pre-mix the dye and let the powder dissolve in the water for at least an hour. - Wear all black when doing this or clothes you dont mind getting some dye on. - Do not wash these garments with other clothes for at least a few washes. Some dye comes off after each wash. - Try to keep the whole dye and rise process outside with use of a hose if possible. It makes clean up much easier. - If you are dying with lots of people gets multiple packs. I used this pack to dye 8 garments. - You will dye your hands. Keep plastic gloves on for all parts of the process.

This kit RULES. I love tie dye, my husband loves tie dye, our SON loves tie dye. Who doesnt? Its so fun! Okay so heres some background Im 27, my husband is 28, our son will be 4 in September. We wanted something easy and mess free, most importantly for our sons sake. These are SO EASY. You simply add water to the bottles, shake, and tie dye! The amount of colors you get is phenomenal for the value and in comparison to some other kits I saw out there. We were able to tie dye an adult sweatshirt, an adult t-shirt, a toddler sweatshirt, 5 toddler shirts, and our son wanted to tie dye his undies! We easily couldve done more, we just didnt have anything left to dye! Some of the colors are similar, but that doesnt bother me. Also this stuff DYES. I didnt wear gloves...yeah big no no. My hands were stained for days. So please wear gloves! And as for the quality of the tie dye, PHENOMENAL. I saw some complaints on here about how the colors werent vibrant...Im not sure why that would be because our shirts came out amazing. After we dyed, we put each shirt in its own plastic bag and let it sit over night with the elastics still on them. Then the next day we took the elastics out and gave them a rinse and let them air dry. Im telling you they came out awesome!

These were great! They were used with about 25 children, grades ranging all the way from Pre-K to 5th grade (with some adult assistance for younger kids obviously). We gave them a limit of 2-3 colors per person, so it was just enough for our big group. The kids had so much fun for about 40 minutes. They were able to get creative with their patterns and colors. Some of them bunched up the t-shirt for the pattern, while some kids used a brush to design their t shirt. I printed out instructions for each kid of how to take care of the shirt before their first wear, and put it in a ziplock to take home. They came out great! So easy and so fun. T-shirts are often on sale at AC Moore (about $2 a shirt) so it was a very affordable project with an actually usable keepsake at the end of it!

my work gives out seasonal sweaters during the holidays that are just 100% cotton sweat shirts with our company logo on them, but we wear them nonetheless. I wanted to give the girls on my crew some flare to our uniforms so I used this kit on a couple of old sweaters we had. they came out so good! now we can match at work, and stand out a little from other stores. I used this kit with the crumple method, pre-wet them, dyed them and let them sit in a plastic bag over night. I rinsed them out in my sink until the water was clear and threw them in a (laundromat) washer and dried them, they came out wonderfully! I also died them a single diluted color first to make sure I wasnt getting any white in my final sweaters. i squirted a little dye in a big bucket with about a liter of water in it and squished the sweaters around before squeezing the excess water out, bundling them up, and dying them. this gives them a soft base color for your bright saturated colors. I also kept like-colors together to prevent browning.

Very easy and convinient to use. I highly recommend putting gloves on when filling the bottles with water. The colors do stick wellmon cotton clothing. We used almost all the bottles except repeat colors for 3 adults and 2 children and had about 3 articles of clothing each, not including socks. Still had leftsovers that can be used for a second round. I do like this brand and would purchase again in the future.

Box product comes in is not very sturdy, but it is what I would expect and that is not the problem. Amazon shipped it in an envelope vice a box, and the product box became quite damaged in shipping. Again, not the fault of the manufacturer, but of Amazon. I would expect more from them. And my granddaughter has not used this yet, but it looks of good quality for the price. I think she will enjoy it.

The good: there we re a lot of colors to choose from, my daughter and I ended up doing 6 shirts and we used half of the colors (saving the rest for another time). Some of the colors were pretty similar, but that made it easy to split the kit in half. The bad: I followed the directions exactly as given, but once I washed the shirts out, they looked very faded, like we made them years ago. The kit we got last summer produced much more vibrant colors that lasted after washing, and look more vibrant even now, a year later. Overall, it is a nice kit, especially in terms of color variety and amount of product you receive. It is easy to use and comes with design suggestions (which we used, and we made some pretty cool patterns).
