Takes and holds a remarkable sharp edge. Slices any meat I have tried it on, cuts bread cleanly, is well balanced, handle is comfortable and easy to grip, ... I could go on and on. Its shape makes it a knife exclusively for slicing, but it is the best knife I have ever used for that job. It is worth every penny and more.

Really sharp blade. This makes slicing meat so easy. First use was on a large pit ham. Like going through soft butter. Its a pleasure to use. To me it was worth the money.

I bought this knife after using it at my son in laws house. I specifically wanted it to cut the skin off of large filets of fish. It definitely does that well. The length allows my to get into the right plane and slit the skin off. If you are in need of a long blade to cut and slice, this is really a great one.

We purchased this for Thanksgiving this year to cut the turkey and it was wildly successful. The blade makes it incredibly easy to cut through large slices of meat, and keep Is it the same width throughout the whole slice. Its also very easy to clean although it is large so storage can be tough depending on your drawer space. Overall I would recommend!
