Its razor sharp. It cuts meat and turkey in precise thin slices. Still i havnt used it for salmon , but I assume it will be as good.

Great for cutting prime rib, turkey, etc. Easily slices through with little effort. Great value.

Really nice sharp, thin blade and cuts smooth. The only reason not 5 stars is the blade is a bit flexible. May not matter in the long run. Sliced thru chicken breast and ribeye with ease

This is a large, quality granton slicer. Took care of an 18lb brisket. Most folks wont need one this large, and Ill probably end up getting the 10 model. But if you regularly tackle large cuts of meat, this is your guy.

My husband wanted this for all his smoked meats. It is awesome! Better than any knife we have. Cuts thru meat like butter without shredding.
