> 24 hourThis is NOT windows 10 compatible, it lags and has issues when installed in Windows 10. It worked okay with WINDOWS 7 & 8 . The only issue I have had thus far is sometimes it lags a little, seems to skip a bit here and there and I am use to one that never did that. I have tried it in several different settings and still does the same thing. Its nice to have but not the best.

> 24 hourIve been able to transfer from VHS to DVD fairly simply, but I havent figured out the advanced editing features yet. Im not tech savvy, so I may not be able to do any editing. The directions are pretty useless. But, the DVDs I made played back on my TV/Dvd player as hoped.

> 24 hourAlthough it shows and input for DVD Player, in dubbing DVDs there is dropout of the sound occasionally. I talked to their tech and he told me it has problems dubbing digital media. Otherwise AOK.

> 24 hourGreat VHS ripping, great editing options, great dvd burning tools. Reviews that reflect poor quality reflect the quality and condition that the VHS tapes and VHS players are in. I tried three VHS players from Goodwill stores and the third one played the best. TIP: shop Goodwill and look for DVD/VHS combo players. These are the most recently produced VHS players and worked the best for me.

> 24 hourIve tried at least two other analog A/V to USB converters in the past and sent them back because either they didnt install correctly at all or produced very small, poor quality digital video copies. This device installed flawlessly on my Windows 10 desktop machine. I didnt use the included CD, but instead downloaded the latest drivers directly from Honestech. I followed the installation instructions exactly and allowed time for everything to install. I used the program so far to save an MPG file from an old VHS tape and to record a DVD using my PCs DVD burner. In both situations, everything was flawless. The mpg file was full-screen with quality equal to that of the VHS tape (old home movie). I havent played with some of the other features of the program, but so far Im pleased with this device and the software. It is serving the purpose for which I bought it.

> 24 hourI have no issues transferring video from a vcr to my computer and from a video camera to my computer. The only issue I found was the editing software but I saved my videos in a format that allowed me to edit them through another program. Overall I am satisfied with this product.

> 24 hourTransfers video as described, but the software to edit video lags and freezes consistently every video Ive edited. Ive had to save projects and close out, then go back in and hope it allows me to view without the skipping and freezing.

> 24 hourI have used the 5.0 version and it worked fine copying old VHS home movies. I bought this one to use on a computer without a optical drive (cd tray) and could not find online where to download the software. Finally I saw in small print with the link in instructions under the first step. I had missed it earlier and tried to search online. Version 8 has more options, like saving as a media file rather than trying to just burn a CD, and it works well. Quality is mostly dependent on your old VCR.

> 24 hourThis product works exactly as described and does a great job of capturing and copying VHS to a digital format. I recommend this over many others simply because of the ability to create MPEG4 format as most other converters will not do this. The software included is very easy to navigate and understand. This product would work great for an inexperienced or experienced operator. I have it installed on a Win 10 machine and it works very well.

> 24 hourOkay, a warning: Windows 10 HATES this program. Get ready to struggle. However, it tends to settle down if you record short clips instead of a whole bunch at once. Older software, would love to see it updated.
