> 3 dayIf you buy this with a Mac and expect a rebate, dont hold your breath. Ive tried twice and both times got stiffed. I have heard from others that this is some kind of racket with this company - promise a rebate and then never send it. If its worth it to you at full price, knock yourself out, but plan on not getting your rebate.

12-04-2025I have been using VM Ware Fusion for several years now and like its smooth installation and performance. Operating systems such as Windows XP, Win 7, Linux, have each installed smoothly the first time. Would recommend.

> 3 dayIve done the Boot Camp thing but its just too cumbersome to reboot every time I need to run a Windows program for work. Fusion lets me run Windows side by side, and I like it. My Windows-only peripherals work on it too, so its an easy way for me to access them from the Mac side of things, especially using the Unity mode which lets me keep a single Windows application open in an otherwise Mac OS. Some of the animations and graphics are a little superfluous, but overall I like it and it runs great on my 2011 i7 iMac.

> 3 dayThis software allows you to run windows on your macintoch giving you a virtual PC. Its ok if you just want to run windows occasionally but if you want to run windows alot you are better off just getting a pc cause it tends to be slow.

> 3 dayExcellent software!! I installed Win 7 in my new iMac (Lion 10.7.2) in about 20 minutes. It starts quickly and works seamlessly. Ive been a computer professional for 20 years and I am very impressed!!

> 3 dayThis is a nice safe way of running windows programs on a Mac without committing yourself to percentages of disc space or having to start and stop the computer. It runs really well, particularly with my odd combination Windows and Microsoft and Corel programs, all from very different dates. Wouldnt swap it for anything else - and it suits an non-techie person like me.

> 3 daySo I couldnt use it. That was disappointing. I will update the review if and when I upgrade my system, but for the time being, I didnt expect this incompatibility for a relatively new computer.

> 3 dayI love this software, I got it to put on my 2011 MBP, and it runs flawlessly on it. I needed a Windows system to run for my job, and this provided me with that.

Greater than one weekIve been a Mac user since 2008 and basically never really run Windows except for the occasional tax or financial program. VM Ware Fusion takes care of that by letting my run windows in a virtual machine on my Mac without partitioning my drive for Boot Camp. Its a bit drive intensive, and isnt the fastest but gets the job done.
