14-04-2025Its size really amazing. Very compact and easy to carry in a small case. Also it comes with USB C to USB 2 converter that really nice of it.

> 3 dayBy far the fastest WD drive I own. As fast as I can double-click, and Ive tried. My only regret is not purchasing a larger capacity but I needed to vet this one first. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayNeeded to replace a 1TB that I had, had for years. This thing hooks up to USB C / Thunderbolt so it goes plenty fast. I habe not had any problems with failures either. I do not use it for its portable feature though. I put my Documents and pictures on it.

Greater than one weekI have many WD external drives and have had no issues so when I saw the external SSD I had to try it. So far this has been great - it is small, light weight and fast!

> 3 dayDrive itself is fast and the transfer speeds are also great. Attached Crystal Disk Mark benchmark as well as the transfer speed of a 102GB file taking only 5 minutes using USB 3.1 (internal storage is SATA so limited by that). Expensive drive but will be very useful. Happy with everything so far.

> 3 dayExtremely lightweight and compact. I needed more memory for Photoshop and Liggtroom, the 2TB version was on sale for $299 and I couldnt pass it up. So far so good I partioned the drive (1.86TB available) for Storage, Camera Raw cache and a Photoshop Scratch Disk. Working like a charm so far. Appearently this is made by SanDisk which is where you register the product for the warranty. Its so light I can keep with my laptop at all times plugged in. Perfect for my needs and the price made it a no brainier.

> 3 dayTransferred 200+ gigs of photos in a matter of minutes, haven’t had any issues with it besides it didn’t come with the activation/serial code for the software registration (not a big deal)

> 3 daylightweight SSD but connection with cable is wobbly and does not give a solid secure feel. with limited usage so far, cant tell whether the connection will hold up if cable is removed many times. had a battery pack which had similar connection looseness which failed after about 6 months. this SSD is pricey, so hoping that it will not have the same problem since it will be after 30 days return period.
