GREAT SSD so far. Just hope it doesnt lose any memory like Ive heard rumors that the WD SSD drives do. Online ordering is FANTASTIC. Memory capacity choices were good. Delivery was fast and secure. No complaints. Im considering buying a higher capacity model.

This is a wonderful purchase-the password protection is invaluable! I had bought Seagate in the past because they were recommended. I have had Seagates crash on me, but so far, never a Western Digital.

Works great, however it does get warm and stays warm while connected even if it’s idle. The 1TB Samsung SSD I have only gets warm to the touch when being used above 75%. But no problem yet with the WD.

Using this as back up and to hold my FLAC music files, picture, and school stuff to keep my computer running smooth and clean. Havent had any problems, runs fast and smooth.

My first SSD drive, and though its more expensive than a standard drive, there is a big level of ease, knowing that there are no moving parts to crash and destroy the platter... and of course all of the data on it. Very happy to have it, after going through the agony of 2 hd crashes in the last 6 months, and nearly losing a ton of photography and writing. Very compact and well mad.

I transferring years and years of videos and photos from disc externals to these WD 2TB SSD’s. Silent. Takes very little USB power (helpful when you have 4 connected at once). No issues with these and I’m about to purchase another one. Seriously, for the size, these must work on pure magic.

I use this to transfer files form a windows work computer to my Arch system at home. Works fine, my only 2 gripes are the case is a tad bulky but more important, the cable they give you is maybe 6 inches long. Would recommend just buying a new cable or this will dangle from just about any USB port you plug it into.

Ive had this tiny SSD for about 9 months now and love it! It works great and doesnt come with the requisite hum of regular external hard drives with moving parts that will inevitably break down sooner than an SSD. Silent and extremely portable. Ive got about 4 other WD Passport external drives and this little guy blows the other ones away. Wish I had the money to buy more of these pricy little buggers. Expensive, but totally worth it

The WD My Passport (2T) is a great product that surpasses other external drives I have try before. Compact, easy to use and FAST!

I have used it for work. I do a lot of work with graphic design software, mostly Adobe Creative Suite, which requires a certain level of computing capability on the drive. With the SSD, I can constantly get a much shorter time of opening, processing, and saving large files. It meets my expectation. A very good upgrade from a hard drive. PLUS, it is very light, so it doesnt add much weight to my bag, it is very important when I have to carry multiple portable drives with me for work.
